    I watched the new Harry Potter and all the rest of them i preferred the books to all the movies...

    It's probably the only good Harry potter movie along with the first one.
    But the first one was released when I was 6 which is probably why I like it so much.

    I was one of the book nerds, but I grew up reading them, couldn't help it.

    End of an era, and not a bad film at all.

    They were indeed. Never read a book as quickly as the last one when it came out. Good times.

    I started re-reading them a few years back but got bored because the first few are quite 'kiddy'. Skipped to the Goblet of Fire and all was well, what a book.

    I know what you mean. I've re-read them a few times now and the first few seem to drag at the start, reintroducing characters etc, but the later books sort that out and go straight into it. I absolutely love the first book though, I really don't know why but it just seems to make me feel like a wee kid again reading it.

    Never seen the appeal of it, seen the first two films and read the first book but never really got into it

    It wasnt amazing, but watching the effects on it compared to the 1st one, wow lol. Preferred the books though, films miss alot.
