At one end of the scale, Ali had charm;at the other end, Hamed was a moron.......the rest were in the middle somewhere!:smiley-laughing002:

Broner is an absolute *. :smiley-laughing002:

It amazes me how anyone can be a fan of his personality. This * passes as "swag" to a generation that think a man has personality because he's cocky and wears expensive jewellery. Kids these days. :31:

Personally I find Fury pretty funny in a spazzy kind of way.

I've taken your post with absolutely no context at all, so what I'm about to say is probably pure pish to you.

The guys you listed all have very different personalities, some have next to none and can't string a sentence together without an audience cringing, others could keep the world watching without uttering a word.

Yeah i taught he was on about the confidence/cockiness and thats why he didnt like Fury.
All them boxers listed where super cockey and would talk about 3rd round knockouts stuff like that..
But there aint too many boxers in the world that dont go on like that, off the top of my head Barrera, Cotto, Pavelik wouldnt say much but did there talking in the ring..
Personally there is not too many boxers i dont like if any really.

    :50:

I guess the fact that Barrera and Cotto both speak relatively poor English contributes to their demeanour, but like you said there are very few who aren't extremely confident, and with good reason imo.

I try not to judge these guys on personality, it reminds me too much of girls who talk about a pop star/sportsmen etc and say "he's such a nice guy" when they've only seen a tiny piece of a contrived personality. The boxers who I don't like are the ones that I would deem a 'con-job', the guys who are duping the casual fan into believing they are one of the greats when in fact they've cherry-picked opponents for most of their careers.

Exactly, i was never argueing the point, in fact it suits boxers alot more to be extremly confident.
The only boxer recently who i really dont like is Chisora but thats because he just seems to be a pure scumbag boxer or not. I taught it was shocking when he spit the water in Klitschko's face and then after the fight still squaring up to him...
Yes, people say Mayweather would fall into the catagory but he has fought Mosley, Marquez, possibley Hatton in his prime.
Edit: Most of the Mexican boxers seem to be quiet, Morales another one i can think of, but i think thats more to do where they come from and they know they are extremly lucky to be making a good living at something there good at..

It will be an interesting fight. We'll have to see the best Ricky Burns to date for him to come out with his hand raised.
