I have heard that a plane was seen a wee while ago flying very low over the south side of Glasgow. I didnt see it myself but I have a friend who is waiting to take off from Glasgow Airport to Cyprus but cant because of a 'security breach' dis anyone see this plane?

    Just found this:

Armed Forces Day Glasgow - Sunday 26th June 2011

GEORGE SQUARE EVENTS AND ENTERTAINMENT - FROM 12 NOON TO 4PM
The event will include a parade and entertainment on George Square including military bands, climbing walls, inflatable assault course, information and recruitment stalls and much much more.

The Parade. The parade will form up in three bodies, the serving military followed by the ex service detachments and the cadet associations. Bands will be provided by all three Services. The bands will form up between the military and ex service detachments. The RHF contingent will take its place behind the Scots Guards as normal.

    a. Veterans and Associations. This contingent will form up on Holland Street under the direction of RSM 6 SCOTS.
    b. The following points should be noted for the Veterans and Associations:

    (1) Those that are unable to march the whole parade route should make their way to George Square and form up under the direction of a nominated SNCO from 6 SCOTS. When the march past finishes the remainder of the veterans will join the parade.
    (2) The parade will be halted on the south side of George Square. When the parade is fallen out all Veterans and Association members are to make their way onto George Square as directed by Military Stewards.

Route. The route will go north up Holland Street, East on West Regent Street to West George Street, march around George Square with an eyes right at the Cenotaph onto South George Square and fall out. Timings are as follows:

1315 hrs Assemble RHF contingent Holland Street
1330 hrs Form up to hard standing Holland Street
