Val Kilmer's performance as Jim Morrison in The Doors is unbelievable. The movie itself isn't to everyone's taste but I've loved it since it came out when I was an impressionable 16-year old and I've been a Doors fan ever since. In the Name Of the Father is another cracker, some terrific performances; not just Daniel Day Lewis, but Pete Postlethwaite and Emma Thompson are on top form too.

I thought it was *. Despite being wrote by a * the book could have made a pretty good film but they just turned it into a pop corn thriller with terrible acting

Not a fan of Chaplin but the Attenborough film starring Downey Jnr is a great movie.
