time to stand up to the media

i think its time for us to gather together on tc and start a campaign to stop buying the rags and stay away from radio phone ins as the have vilified our manager and stoked up the hatred the rangers fans are showing for him .
there has been no mention of the rm site bile against lenny but as soon as we had problems with certain refs then we were slated for sending death threats to them which was bs.
it would be great if the mods and influential peeps on the site could help this along ,something has to be done to get a balanced view in the media or are they afraid that they will all get the treatment lenny gets for standing up to the bully.

 

Start buying The Times/The Guardian/The Herald and switch your radios to Radio5 Live or TalkSport.

The thing that talks for these * is money. If you stop buying or tuning in, they may well take heed, but I will never buy a Scottish tabloid again.

Anyone who buys a newspaper in this country is subjected to a sick propaganda campaign to support the armies that invaded Iraq and Afghanistan,who are responsible for thousands upon thousands of deaths,and made to beleive we are under some imminent attack from invisible enemies.This alone should be enough to stop buying them or even discussing themNever mind the preferrential treatment them get.
The very fact that some people on this site are so outraged by the media,yet give them continiual publicity is just pathetic.* 'em.* 'em all.

 

Also need to stay away from the websites. PL has become more vocal in his support of the club against the media and the authorities, now it is our turn to stand up and be counted. We should see no more media threads on this forum, as that is just giving them more publicity.

If someone feels the need to draw attention to a negative media article then copy and paste as providing a link will benefit said media.

Honestly, any Celtic supporter who ever buys any UK tabloid/redtop wants their head looking at.
