442 we pumped them with 4 in the midfield when Forster got sent off.let give it to the anti football *.you don't see barca changing cos there up against negative teams they just let them have it

I agree with the 4-4-2 and lenny always surprises us, he has played 4-5-1 in the last couple so don't rule out the 4-4-2 yet.

I'd feel sorry for Stokes if he was sacrificed again and we played a 4-5-1. I think Lenny will go 4-4-2, the strikers are on top form and so are the hoops....GET INTAE THEM!!!!!

imo the safest formation is 4-5-1 just to match them in midfield, but 4-4-2 seems the more sensible just to get down their throats.

    I'd go for a 4-4-1-1, Samaras/Paddy playing behind Hooper/Stokes (i'd prefer Hooper).

For me there is no hearts about it. Its at our home patch, we are the form team, let them adjust for us. We outplayed them with 10 men at the Zoo. I want to see us playing out natural attacking game at CP with a 442 formation. Get intae them.

Ye know.........this time I'm really not sure. :43:

Normally I would always say play 4-4-2 at home and keep the Stokes - Hooper partnership together. The thing is though, we've played so * well in the last two games at Ibrox playing 4-5-1. So now I'm thinking maybe we should just play that way again because it seems to work.

I don't mind which formation we play as long as Samaras doesn't start and we keep Brown and Commons in the wide positions.

Our strongest defence is our offence. Commons and Brown wide with Stokes and Hooper up tip will keep them too occupied to have any other option but too hoof the ball up the park. Kayal and Ledley are solid in midfiled and will give them no time at all. As long as we can mop up the long balls at the back we should be okay. I think if we go one up this time there will be no repeat of the last game.

Lenny also knows he can change it with Ki and Sammy / McCourt etc on the bench

I think Lenny will start 4-5-1 against Rangers.

He's set out with that formation the last twice against them, & both times we've got an excellent result.

Hoops up front I think, he's shown he has the strength for the role.

how a would play.doesn't mean your being negative playing 4-5-1....sammy seems to be hard for them to handle going by the last few games so would give him the role.
