Im sure there was a cut-off point way before the transfer deadline for calling back loaned out players.

Really quite angry about all this. We needed a CB and maybe a striker and bought neither. Thats just shocking

If there ever was a time to show some faith this is it guys. Rangers have bought a pair of duds. Diouf only scored 1 goal out of 24 appearances in 2008/09 and 3 goals 2009/10....... does anyone really find that threatening. The boy Healey hasn't played for about 18 months and scores 1 goal in every 13 games. Time to get perspective guys

yeah the huns have signed duds. and i have faith in our team, i just cant believe the stupidity of the board to not make sure a cb would be brought in to strengthen the team, the only thing we really needed.

As good as Celtic have been playing i know that can all change in one game ,the next 3 games are away from home and those games will play a major part in deciding where this League is going ,i think the team is the strongest we have had in many a year and i dont like the fact that for all the Midfielders we have we lack Central Defenders ,if they pull off the next 3 games i cant see past us and we should have defenders fit again ,i have'nt mentioned rangers simply because i think its down to what Celtic do.

we needed a backup striker.... we held on to Sammy at least. We prob couldn't move him due to his knock.

Not getting Wilson sucks, but that's business and the manager is confident in Maj, Mulgrew, Wilson, and Rogne who will be back soon.

We have Cha and Ki back who are guys that can cover CM, RB, and RW between them. Cha apparently had the tournament of his life down there in Qatar.

We got an absolute steal in Commons, an international, for 300k.

We locked Forster up for the rest of the season.

Maloney will be back. Forest is back.

Juarez is around for cover on the right, cm, or rightback.

We are thin at CB but I trust in Lenny's judgment. I can't help be slightly wish we had held onto one of Jos or Misun tho.

They were actively trying. Some things were out of their hands.

exactly these next 3 games are away from home, and will play a major part in deciding the league, which i exactly why i think bringing in a centre half or 2 for these games was absolutely essential...and then the home game's against the huns.

strengthening the defense was the only thing needed, me, a 16 year old can see that, surely these experienced board at celtic can too.

Yep agree but we needed a centre half badly an failed to deliver , I honestly couldn't give a * how hard they tried they have failed us and could go a long way to damaging our title charge two full backs at centre back in the next 2 games is crazy your a football man KD it's suicide to do this in big matches .

They still tried to bring genuine quality that they thought would help bring the title back to Parkhead, which is what everyone wanted. The only area we are thin is at CB and Majstorovic and Rogne will be back fairly soon, until then I'm not sure who'll cover but I trust the team to defend as a unit.

Well all I can say that the board were trying to sign a CB. It's not as if they want to disappoint the fans, there were just reasons that they weren't able to complete a deal for someone.

Why are you all talking about other teams the post said did you feel cheated and yes we have been again, you always look to see to your weaknesses and these should have been addressed, if we do start to drop goals and points down to this and lose the league because of this, then all * will break loose, we lost under WGS, because we never signed a good strike,r so fans will not take this, hope to * they are good at poker because this is a big big gamble.

    Couldn't agree with you more.

Diouf the spitter has played 363 league games and scored 60 goals, a goal every 6 games and is 30.
Healy 383 league games and scored 93 goals, a goal every 4 games and is 31.

Compare that to Super Hooper played 268 league games and scored 103 goals, a goal every 2.5 games aged 23.
Stokes played 157 games and scored 61 goals again a goal every 2.5 games, aged 22.
I know who I would rather have in my team.

Couple that with a central partnership of Old Man Ranker and Boggled with a combined age of 68 against either Rogne and Dan at combined age of 53 or even Wilson and Mulgrew at combined age of 50 again I would have either of our partnerships before thos two muppets.

I realise there are a lot of dissapointed people and I am not completely satisfied with the lack of movement by our club, but we really do need to put this into some perspective. :icon_mrgreen:

The one thing I don't understand is why clubs leave it to the last minute? I mean I know there are different deals as the window comes to a close but for teams like us who have known for weeks the areas we need to strengthen there is no excuse for leaving it to the last minute.
