He's not had a fair crack.

He has looked average when we've seen him but his past record suggests he's not as bad as he's looked. I hope he gets on well at Copenhagen.

You read too many tabloid newspapers.

He wanted to succeed here and it never worked out, that's all.

£2 million he cost us. What a waste of money. Seems like a good lad, a a decent player, but we were robbed.

not to be to harsh on every player but under Mogga every one was pretty much rank anyway so it's shame he never got more of chance this time round once everything had settled and all the * of last season calmed down and lenny settled in a little more

He seemed like a nice guy and all, but he was never good enough when he played, slower than Josh Thompson and that's saying something.

All the best though, hopefully he does well there and we get some money for him.

You'd likely love my attitude mate, but I can play * all football, just like big Jos.

Guy has cost us somewhere near 3 million, done * all, and leaves with all the best wishes from the support?

There's hardly a day goes by that I don't read about Caldwell, and Strachan, and how terrible they were for the club, yet they at least won trophies for the club.

That said, I'm no lover of either of those pair, but the way some folk love to hate them, yet support folks like Hooiveld does my nut in.

    A great pedigree?

I sat and watched Utrecht rip us tae fecken shreds, and the Dutch pundits laughed their arses off at our two CB's. He failed here with 2nd division mobs, failed with Livi.

A season in Sweden, and he's got pedigree?

Must be dug meat yer on about!

Never impressed me, as soon as I heard he failed at Livingston I was wary of him. Good luck to the guy though, got some unfair press, making him out to be this cocky idiot, don't think thats the case with Jos at all. He wanted to do well here and it didn't work out. Hope we pick up decent money for him.

At Utrecht i saw just 11 very bad Celtic players and a very bad manager. I have been laughing about the whole team. Just one shot on goal from Celtic. That says a lot and not only of Jos or the defenders.....

You don't address the point I make, that of the Dutch tv comms/pundits, laughing at how bad Jos (unknown) and Dan (finished) were/are.

It may be laudable that you seem to be a big fan of Jos, but I haven't a clue what this is based on. It cetainly isn't his fantastic talent.

The fact you speak of a bad manager, and a bad team, while sticking up for Jos for over a year now, shows you are actually not interested in Celtic, only Jos.

Which is why I have always thought you had to be family.

Ridiculous player. Certainly will make my Celtic Dream Team of the poorest ever players.

Hope it works out for him though am i the only one who thinks letting him go out on loan might be a tad silly if we dont get Wilson at the very least in before Jan finishes? with Loovens likely on the way out we'd have only 2 CB's....

To be honest ok he may not have cut it...so far! But I mean can you really judge a guy who hasn't had a half decent run in the team?
