Miller has shown what a striker can do in the SPL on physical ability. If Vaughan gets a few and gets his confidence he could turn out to be great. He'll be good depth and he brings something different to the table.

Unsure. We only need one striker.....

Maybe loan is the best bet. With Stokes and Hooper seeming like a good partnership when we play 4-4-2 and Samaras capable of playing on his own, im not too fussed.

I'm not too bothered, I wouldn't break up Stokes & Hooper tbh.

Plus on bbc it says we're paying 250,000 ... Add that to the Wilson offer then we have another centre back this window, Which is the priority.

It seems to say its a done deal. Pleased to see him coming on loan first to see if we want him. Its basically a trial so thats good

Stokes n Hooper played well against Hibs but theres times when we need a big target man up there for one of them to play off. If you cant offer a bit of variety then you run the danger of becoming stale and predictable

Im hearing that its a done deal, but i wouldnt get rid of Sammy for him.

Hes an average player, and another injury prone one, not really what we need.

Agree but Austin would be around 1.5 /2mill , Vaughan 250k on loan cheap option from the board.

Crystal palace are raging, they wanted him on loan and offered £850,00 for his services, which seems strange that Everton have accepted a much lower bid from us.

850.000 offer from Palace was to buy him , same with Cardiff interest in him with a 1million pound bid if they sell Jay Boothroyd .

If Cardiff want him then that is brilliant as David Jones knows a good striker when he sees one... Michael Chopra, Bothroyd and Kenny Miller when he was at Wolves.

Hoping this gets done so we can concentrate on gettin a new centre half!
