Samaras, I just havn't seen anything to convince me Murphy should be in our squad nevermind our team.

Anyway, Samaras seems to be right into it in OF games more than any other

 

It's like Sophie's choice. At least with Murphy you know he's going to try and challenge for an aerial ball.

Samaras when he's on form is the better of the two but when he's off form he's the worst of the two. Just ends up running down blind alleys and not looking to pass to a single team mate.

 

pretty one sided debate and so it should be as even though both are * murphy is no where near a player

 

If Samaras plays then I hope Crosas does because in a game against Rapid Vienna at home last season, Marc kept pinging 40 yard passes perfectly over the opposition backline and every time Sammy would spin and get on the end of them.

Samaras without both Stokes and Murphy is our best option. The best form Samaras produced for Celtic was when playing just ahead of Maloney in the lone Striker role. He should now play there ahead of McCourt until we finally sign a couple of decent forwards to play with Hooper.

 

Samaras at his best is arguably the best striker in the league, unfortunately we only see that for five minute spells a couple of times a season, but Murphy isn't capable of these heights.

Samaras, even when not playing well, always gives the impression that he is giving 100% and you can tell he's trying, I don't get that impression with Murphy, unless I'm missing something and there is a reason he can't run more than five yards at a time.

Samaras. Atleast theres a chance he might do something, and if he plays well he's a proper threat, he can run the channels and move defenders about. Murphy is * *. Seems to think his job is to stand beside defenders, let the ball hit off him and do * all.

Sami tends to go alright in the Old Firms but he's frustrating because on song he should be the best player in this league.

Personally I'd rather get Freddie on for 55 and try and bang in some goals and then sub him for Sami

 

Sammi in the rare periods where he has his self confidence back is on a level that Murphy could only dream of. In fact in those rare periods he is a very good and almost unstopable player. Its a matter of sadness that a guy with everything just cannot bring it all together because he could have been a world class player.

Sammy just because he's got a better touch but the * canny hit the goal from 6 yards

That question is like asking me to decide whether I prefer a lump of dogshit or a ball of horseshit.

 

Samaras,know he can score goals and when he shows his frustratingingly rare moments of brilliance can be half decent.
