look back in history of celtic...everytime the teams pish...its no the players, the manager or the tactics......now its the board again. yawnnnnnnnn. diddums yer no supposed to stand up.....dont come then. leave the rest of us to back the team without agenda.

its a section of fans in the huff with the board.....not the board in the huff.....board only following safety directives set out in law. you are not being forced to attend......go and watch darts...those * are always on their feet...lol

We're in an almighty mess just now and that is mainly to do with our board. They have continually made a * of things for 2 years at least and they deserve every last single bit of stick they get and then more and more.

Back the club, sack the board.

Don't know what age you are pal, but to come away with * like that, you really don't know how lucky you are, that was a circa phrase used in the early 90's when Celtic were finishing 5th in the league and playing to crowds of under 10,000.

While I don't agree with everything our board does, some people really need to give themselves a reality check.

We operate within our means. Do I wish we would gamble and dip into the red a bit? Yeah sure, but * sake is there any need for all this * us / them mentality?

think those sub-10000 crowds only occurred during games we were boycotting tbh,the galling thing is,back in the early 90s we could never imagined we would ever be better off than them financially-it was my main argument against hun * i was working with at the time-for the past few years theyve been on * street and we aint takin advantage-someones liable for this complacency,if some people blame the guys in charge its understandable imho

 

I think some of the people who are claiming that it is an embarrassment for Celtic to be getting crowds of 30-40,000 at the moment need go and have a wee look through the history books and take their head out of the sand. It has only been in recent years that Celtic have had average attendances of 50,000+. Historically that is not the norm for Celtic.

To be perfectly honest the drop off in attendances we are now seeing is really just taking our average attendance back to where it was in the late 60's to mid 90's.

Historically its not really the norm for any clubs in Britain to continue getting the crowds they have since the inception of all seated stadia. We however are the main ones who are now going backwards. So your history comparison is not really that fair or relevant tbh.
