What happens in the States doesnt matter. The UK had severe stadium problems in the past, now they have strict guidelines.

Nobody said you have to sit down for 90 minutes, they clearly stated that you cannot stand up for 90 minutes, its people's interpretation has gone OTT.

I know the health and safety police have bought this to a head but I think its crap and they wonder why there is no atmosphere at CP . * do they expect when they treat fans like children .

 

So you can stand for 89 and its ok?? I think its the plc's way finding a reason to get rid of the GB cause they know they won't follow what they have said.

 

Bring your solicitor to the match and wrangle with them over the wording.

Did those complaining about the club actually read the whole article? Specifically the bit where it says

"Persistent standing is a real safety risk and could ultimately result in the Safety Certificate, which is required to open the stadium, being revoked."

Which means the club have to make people sit down, or there's a chance fans won't be able to watch games at all.

Lobby for a change in the law, right to your MP, sign a petition to bring back terracing, but don't blame Celtic for rules which they didn't introduce.

 

If thats the way its going to be are we going to get chucked out for celebrating a goal then. This country is health and safety mad yes we have had our problems with standing before but why can we not learn from that and bring in safe standing areas??

 

Standing when celebrating a goal would be considered acceptable, doesnt mean you can stay standing. Use common sense.

People are being stupid here with daft comments about not being allowed to stand up when we score to celebrate.

Stop going way over the top and making a massive deal out of this , this is not about the * GB , its about a bigger issue than this.

Would these same people still be making these stupid dumb comments if there was a massive crush or worse within the ground due to the standing Celtic would be punished and the first thing fans would do is blame the club.
