    Accuracy is no definition of a good movie. Bridge is a great movie with brilliant acting in it and very exciting.

    I have been meaning to get The Forgotten Highlander. Birthday soon so may ask for it then.

    I dont think thats the case, pretty sure the intention wasnt to disrespect them. Given when the movie was made, its unlikely a truer depiction would have been acceptable to either censors or the public.

    Still a great film, imo.

    War is *, no doubt.

    Tell you what Bhoys if you'se don't mind watching a film in subtitles - days of glory - is a good one in french about the 140,000 algerian soldiers that went to fight for france in North Africa...

    I'd reccomend it for a ww2 film from an african countrys perspective

    The Battle of Algiers [1965] Is a great film about the Algerian War of Independence. If you like stuff about the Provos ,Black Panthers,Baader-Meinhofs or Che Guevaras of this world you'll love this.
