could,nt agree more,midfeild are a bit powderpuff the more aggressive mids tend to shove our guys out of their way.

But, there's no certainty we would have got them, even if we went more defensive....just look at the way UTD came out the traps at half-time and attacked us.....

I agree with you in terms of bringing more attacking players on though.

 

Surely a bit of common sense would be that paddy can't tackle so put someone on who can. When teams come at you like that you have have to put the graft in and paddy doesn't

 

There was an instance where Paddy literally stood and watched as one of their players drove past him with the ball. Moments later he made a half-arsed attempt at winning the ball back and ended up fouling the boy.

He may be a genius but he is a lightweight shitebag as well.

 

So who on that bench would have came on that can 'put a tackle in'?

If anyone here thinks that holding out for a 1-0 win at parkhead is a good standard for the team...things are going really downhill!

So at 1-0 up at Parkhead against a dogged Dundee UTD team who were attackiing us from the half-time whistle....you would try and solely hold out for the win?

I would dare to say that no matter how defensively we went, they would have/and should have scored.

the only for us to win that game IMO was to find the killer 2nd goal....which did not come granted, but whose to say defending would have won us the game?

 

Lennon * up with his subs. For a start he needed to make changes much earlier - everyone around me could see that so why couldn't he? Next, how can he possibly think bringing Samaras on was going to stiffen the midfield and help us regain the grip on the game we had in the first half. Samaras spent most of his time on the pitch sliding all over the place. When the Samaras substitution clearly wasn't working he had to bring on a real midfielder which meant Murphy was sacrificed, even though he at least offered some sort of out for the defence as he was holding the ball up well.

In every big game since he took over that he has had to get the tactical decisions right he's failed. I'd love Lennon to be a success but I don't think he's got it.

I agree we have got to win at at our ground for F------e the day was * & not on!!!! At this rate the huns are going to walk away with the title. The Midfield was * the day ! So Lenny get a grip & get it sorted out

 

Playing 2 against 3 means we will always be up against it in the midfield battle, we got completely over run in the second half.
