Agree with that. The thing thats most impressing me about him is that fearlessness. He just gets the ball and goes, it doesnt matter if he's playing against St. Mirren or teams like Arsenal in the Emirates Cup. Its really wonderful and refreshing to see

Thought his tracking back was excellent yesterday, good team player with a really bright future.

Talk of him going on to be a better player than McGeady looks spot on to me

More effective on the left for me, coming inside to his right and having a strike.
Put in some shift yesterday right enough for a lad of his age

Put in a great shift and played in some telling balls unlucky not to score as well very good game from him he had the beating of there defence .

It is important we do not over hype him the lad has bags of potential right now , only time will tell how good the lad can be but he looks to have a real bright future within the game and could go on to be a great player for Celtic and Scotland.

I think he's a bit wasted wide on the left. The quality of his crossing when he hits the right byline is terrific, especially considering his age.

I don't know why some people can't take that he's already better than McGeady, he clearly is. He's ore creative and exciting than McGeady and he doesn't * about when he beats his man like McGeady, he gets a cross in, he chips in with a few as well

It was a wonderful sight when forrest picked up the ball and you realised the hun that was facing up to him was none other than david weir haha you just knew he was going to murder him for pace and whip the ball across. He has all the potential to be a class winger, just needs to become a bit more involved but that will come with experience.

Cracking first touch for the one McCulloch blocked (nice ball from McCourt to).

His crossing is unreal. Sometimes it looks like the ball has got away from him and he just hooks his foot around it and whips it in.

Great talent. Although I thought he wasn't quite up to speed against the Huns, which is understandable given hes just getting back into the swing of things, over and above the fact they are hatchet merchants.

McGeady is widely considered as the best player in Russia. He's been incredible since joining Spartak. Is Forrest worth 10 mill?

Forrest is 20 yrs old. Russia is a big league but not the EPL or anything. Forrest has a better final ball, more power on a snapshot, he faster than McGeady. the only thing he lacks that mcgeady had was the stepover, stepover, stepover, stepover, stepover, stepover, stepover etc, move. Forrest will never be half the player McGeady is in 5 a sides but at 24 he'll be the more complete footballer and i'd think we'd get 10 mil for him before then.

He may well develop to be a better player than McGeady was at Celtic, but I think McGeady in a more competitive league will become a top, top player. Forrest may also one day, hes certainly a more effective and smarter player than Aiden at 19 y.o, but Aiden had more natural technique than anything we will produce for a long while.

Experience isnt a problem with Forrest, he showed serious maturity and discipline yesterday.
