Alot has been made of our "Team of Nations" but, look at the squad yesterday.

    Forster (ENG)
    Cha Loovens Mastorovic Izaguirre

Maloney (Scot) Brown (Scot) Ledley (Wales) Forrest (Scot)

    Stokes (Ire) Murphy (Ire)

Subs: Zaluska Misun Kayal Ki McCourt (N.I) Hooper (Eng) Samaras

9 from the British Isles 3 Scots

I know a few people would be included like Juarez, Rogne etc.

Lennon has us playing with passion style flair and thunder ........ the way Celtic should always play:50:

    Thoughts???

I was talking to my mates about this yesterday...must admit it was nice to see a few Scots getting a game..maybe shut up a few snipers fae the media.
It's good to see we are beating the likes of Hearts whilst having the luxury of resting the likes of Jaurez and being able to bring the likes of Paddy and Georgios off the bench....decent strength in depth.
I really thought it was a good all round team performance yesterday.
Long may it continue Bhoys and Ghirls :50:

That's great! For me as a Celtic fan from the continent, it's horrible to see 7 out of 11 hoops being foreign players who don't add something to the team.

Back to (mostly Scottish) basics! Great!:50:

    Yeah.

So we have 3 Irish and 6 British Isles.

    :icon_mrgreen:

I get what yo are saying, and its good to see a mix of Foreign and local talent.

Also i think the foreign lads we have, have the right fighting attitude (well most of them) that some players do not bring with them.

All in all its looking good.:shamrock:
