    To celebrate the death of someone is pretty gruesome IMO. I'm opposed to Thatcher and her policies. She was ruthless in a cut throat business no denying it but to wish death on her is quite sad. She was a fool who thought she wa doing the right thing, as distorted and damaging as it was to the common man
    To wish death on anyone is quite a sad reflection of the times.

    As cliched as it is the old 'An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind' comes in useful. We shouldn't hate forever.

    No but honestly I do generally agree with your sentiment. But people in politics, whose decisions whether 'well meaning' or not, affect and destroy a lot of lives. A lot of horrific people throughout history had good intentions by their own reasoning and I peg Thatcher among them. I'm not going to go * on her grave or anything but I certainly won't be lighting any candles.

    TBH I couldn't care less.. and I bet half the members making comments wont have a clue who she is or was other that what they have heard from older people. Life goes on... where is the peace in our society > all I see lately is hatred

    She tore the soul out of our country. Hit Scotland hard. Hammered down the working class. Split the unions. Sold off our assets to the rich. Destroyed communities.

    Aye...I will *' party when she goes. You better believe it.....I dont wish her death or harm....pity she cannot say the same about the working classes or the poor!!!!!!

    For the younger people on here.....read up about her or ask your parents.....then you will see why people of a certain age feel that hatred towards her.
