So going by the website, it seems hes still with us. And to be fair, although its an injury risk, id rather the lad was playing a bit of football on the sly than being on the bevvy. Want him playing with a ball as much as possible.

If you take the time to use the search feature at the top of the page you will see numerous threads all on the same topic ....

And now you change the thread to the way all the rest went.

He's a young guy that knows he's good, that's the extent of it.

He's part of the 'i iz da gr8st play4' generation, that everyone has access to through Bebo and Facebook.

Close it if you like, mate. Its served its purpose. I just wanted a bit more input and clarification on the situation with the boy which I felt wasn't achieved in other threads.

He seems to be still at the club which is good for all involved and im happy now. The passport situation explains him being at home.

As I said earlier in the thread, if anything Id rather he was playing football on the sly than on the bevvy.

He is still at the club, he is 15 years old and he does actually look 15 years old as well. He's quick and has fantastic skill, a bit selfish at times but a talented boy with a lot of potential. Fingers crossed he lives up to the expectation that's now on his shoulders.

    This thread is classic.

But seriously, I met him in Oddbins. He told me he was 29 and playing for Partick Thistle behind everyone's back. Seems he had us all going.

Feruz notches a hat-trick as Scots win in Nordic Cup

THE scoring form of Celtic striker Islam Feruz in the Nordic Cup carried on into Scotland Under-17s' third game with the youngster netting a hat-trick in their 5-1 win over Faroe Islands, in the heat of Vassa in Finland, to add to the single strikes he hit against Sweden and Norway.
Ross Mathie's youngsters, who were chasing their first victory in this season's tournament, were stunned when early pressure failed to grab a goal and the Faroese youngsters broke up the park and took their first chance after just 15 minutes.

z struck for the first time on the half hour mark to drag Scotland level when he sent home a stunning free kick that swerved and dipped before nestling in the top corner. Kilmarnock's Matthew Kennedy put the Scots ahead just before half-time when he slotted home a penalty after he himself had been brought down. Scotland went two in front on 55 minutes when Feruz cut in from the right wing and sent in a low drive with Kennedy making it four shortly afterwards when he notched his second.

Feruz wrapped things up and the Somalia-born youngster grabbed his first Scotland hat-trick when he netted just before the end.

"Islam's free kick was a bit special and he took his other goals well," said Mathie.

Scotland will now meet Iceland in tomorrow's Fifth and Sixth play-off after Norway and Sweden drew 2-2 to edge Scotland down to third spot. Sweden will play England in tomorrow's final

if he makes it it will be the true from rags to riches story.
I think the rumours start basically from people wanting to know what's happening with him fearing the worst, the odd * will fling in "he's ditched celtic" blah blah blah n that's it, they believe it. not to mention this is the internet... you can be anything you want to be on the internet - from a multi-millionair to a guy who saw a celtic player playing 7-asides down at goals.

If he's good enough he'll make it in the footballing world, if not - he won't. He'll be no different to the other 15 year old alan smith or joe Macintosh who fail to play professionally
