    Sounds a good session.

Didnt really think we would get Keane or Bellamy but will be happy if/when Hooper signs.

Lennon spoke VERY highly of Hooper indeed and by all means he is very excited by him.
Also that the signings of Ledley, Mulgrew and Cha Duri were fantastic pieces of business by the club and Peter Lawell, ESPECIALLY the signign of Ledley:50:

No probs mate. I was really happy with the manner that Lawell and Lennon answered ANY questions put towards them, ver honest and open. And finally some peace of mind about the Fletcher "signing":50:

Only one that was mentioned was James. Lennon was openly honest that he wants another "top class GK" to replace Boruc, and that James was available and that HE was the one to contact Celtic at first, he IS coming up on Monday to talk abput a move and that it would be only right that he gave James the time of day. Also that James is a "quality" GK, despite his advancing years.

Great Post ! Everything very positive ! Dont suppose the israeli Kayal was mentioned then - just wondering as he says he wants a GK LB and CB doesnt mention the DM. Just wondering as I think Kayal would be a great signing.

They were going to give him to us for free?! :eek1::icon_mrgreen: Just kidding, but I think it sends a warning to all those saying we should sign Stokes that it is unlikely to happen.

Talk about putting pressure on the guy before hes even kicked a ball. Hes capable of scoring a lot of goals - but to compare him with our best striker of all time is daft.

Lets hope hes as good in front of goal and thats a start.

Im just glad we will have a striker with a bit of pace to get in behind teams - could be very useful in europe.

    * naw bud nobody even thought of that.

Just remembered one thing that was discussed was he poppy on the shirt. Lawell stated that this was a "touchy" subject as what means something to someone can mean something to someone else. He said there will be lenghty discussions on this matter and a decision will be made in November regarding it.
