i have to say myself, that if this continued to be the level of player we signed, i wouldn't be over the moon. But if the job gets done then we can say very little. We shall see :50:

Perhaps it's not entirely up to Neil Lennon, perhaps he's being forced to buy cheap players by Desmond and Lawwell. Well if that is the case our directors have learnt nothing from January 2009, maybe we'll try to sign willow Flood back from Boro !!!

time will tel in which dirrection we will go . i must admit i dont see the point in the board giving lenny the job if they wernt going to back him in the transfer market. it just doesnt make sence the only chance we have next season is if we get some good experienced footballers in to the club. who knows who we are gona sign their has been alot of paper talk about this player and that player coming in. im gona wait and see what happens . just hope we sign some good players quickly.

Celtic launch an £800,000 bid for Sunderland striker Daryl Murphy, but the Republic of Ireland international is also wanted by Wolves. (Daily Star, Daily Express)

Celtic are backing Lennon. He has a budget and he picks players within it. That's not "forcing" him to buy cheap players. It's just the club making available what funds they can

800,000 is better than what was originally quoted at 1.2m? Who knows, maybe he will surprise us, would rather us not go for him to be honest. At least it's not a large sum of money.

At that price isn't relatively risk free. He's played at a higher level than a few of our current players.

Here you never know the guy might come up here and do us a good turn:50:

Remember, we sign Didier Agathe at a paltry £40,000 so money isn't everything. It's about how well the player works with the manager's system...so give the guy a chance and have faith in Lennon:50:

Doesnt excite me this you never know though he could be useful. Like rosleabhoy said its not a big risk not like were wasting £3.8million on a player who pretends to be a striker!

His record when he was on loan at ipswich was pretty good. I will judge him if he comes. At sunderland he was a bit part player who got on occasionally as a sub. Anthony Stokes was a sunderland reject and i think 90% of people on here would want him upfront so we shall see. I would still prefer us to get keane in though instead
