I don't blame Campbell too much. He is only asking the board to show the ambition that many of us fans have begged them to show.

If we would loosen the purse strings and bring in guys like Keane or Bellamy, Ramis, Lawrence, Bullard and Ledley then that would demonstrate that we want to put a team on the park that can live up to our standing as a club.

 

Sorry but cambell is taking the mick, if he ends up at sunderland or nfc he has simply been usung us as a tool same as ledly.there are defenders out there younger and have resale value who whould walk to parkhead,,to name 1 big bamba just back from the world cup also and he isnt getting time off mid july..cambell sign up or fek off.

 

Bamba is mediocre, Campbell may be worth waiting for.

 

Many people here praised Nakazawa and Tulio of Japan, for their steady WC performances. Now, Japan NT plays defensively, too. So, does it mean they don't deserve praise if their team plays defensively? I think a defender who plays well should be given credit for it, regardless of team setup, and can be considered a worthy target for us.
