Okay. I isn't sure. I just though that those teams that fails to qualify to Champions League would go to the Europe League group stage. But they go to the qualifing round to the Europe League then?

    Sorry, off topic.

    This

Wanting to play with a team that has an expectation to win promotion next season and entry to the EPL, a league with more money than sense, more media exposure than any other, more people watching than any other and you think the SPL & a few European Qualifier matches will trump that? The Championship has more money and media exposure than the SPL

Ambition would be trying to prove yourself at the highest level, good a chance if not better at Boro plus he'll get more money for his endeavor there so what will entice him to choose Celtic, it wont be the tumbleweed that blows around the stands at Celtic Park...

This idea that Celtic is an automatic choice is completely naive.

    you having a giraffe?

Goodwille has done nowt, not a proven goalscorer. fed up signing squad players pay the extra 1m and get first team players that can make a difference.

Steven Reid have been at Lennoxtown. Lennon have hold talks with Sol Campbell. Celtic have negotiated with Landry N'Guémo.

I bet that Celtic in some matter have been in touch with Gary Hooper. Dunno how much there's in it etc., but wouldn't dismiss the rumour to pure paper talk.

The fact is guys if lenny gets the job then he will sign the players he wants and you have to accept he sees something in them he can work with . People get too stuck up on who layers played for or which league when our recent history is littered with players who didnt come from top teams but still did a job for us . Lubo hadnt won a trophy and henke wasnt played as a striker , chris sutton couldnt get a game for chelsea and petrov was an unknown so all they show is ignore which team they play for and worry about what they do here because at the end of the day thats all that matters

    Sad but true.

Only way to change it is to get out of Scottish League. Is it a viable option? I dunno. I would happily go into the conference and work our way up. Be confident it could be done in 5 years. Dunno why this has never been suggested. Anyway, going off topic i know, it's just depressing to think of some of the clubs who currently are a more attractive option than us!
