Lack of respect to U-19s ??

Celtic have rearranged the friendly with AZ for the same night as the U19 Celtic v Rangers cup final.

Do we think this is disrespectful or whats your opinions ?

 

yes there taking the fans away from them when they need it the most for something that actually matters

 

I am not seeing the point in this match.

Thinking it will be lucky if it attracts more than 10,000 people.

 

na no really! how many fans go and actually watch them week in /out? i dont mean to be a * by that but the 1st team is the most important so they obviously will get the attention.

 

All the groups withing CP - Green Brigade / Jungle Bhoys / Rude Bhoys / Shamrock Bhoys / Comrades etc are all going to Hampden for the cup final I seriously think there could be less than 10,000 at parkhead maybe even less, plus there will be no atmosphere without afore mentioned groups, will be able to hear the players talk

 

A 1st team who showed * all emotion or commitment this season,involved in a * meaningless friendly.

Id rather the board did not organise this friendly for the same night as the U19 final.

I think its a kick in the balls for the youngsters.

 

Thats a poor move, but maybe it was unavoidable. Need to take AZ Alkmaar's schedule into account.

I'm going to the U-19s game. Would rather pay a fiver to see competitive football, than watch a friendly for free.

not really whoever is gonna go to the final will go, cant see anybody changing their mind to go n watch us get pumped, they have just got the pound signs in their eyes..

We will be at Hampden. Celtic have shown a lack of respect to The Under 19s and in my opinion should pay for it. Anyone planning going to the Celtic/Alkmarr game, Boycott it. Come down to Hampden with the groups & other supporters & give the U19s the support they deserve, given the first team have blown every chance thats come there way for a cup final.

I'd hapilly let celtic record the lowest EVER attendance at celtic park for this... Anything to * us out of a free game eh?, people will say it's our choice weather to turn up or not but think about this? the youth's biggest game of the season always attracts 20 odd thousand every time & celtic's first team are trying to steal there moment which is shocking.

For the record Celtic U19 are playing Rangers U19 at Hampden 7.30 Kick Off With It Being 5 Pound pay at the gate.

another frustration for me was that i had hoped to see a few youngsters given a run-out against Alkmaar. Very disrespectful and i will be more inclined to go to hampden - the youngsters deserve a chance in terms of support as the first team have continually let us down

Its a meaningless game though, no point in friendlys at this time of year, the 19's have the chance to win the cup against the huns * sake !

 

No. Who cares about the under 19s when the first team are playing?. I'd sooner watch the first team play at my local park or at 5s than watch the under 19's, cup final against the huns or not. Shows how * this season that the fans want a bit of glory at the under 19s game.

 

Just because you dont give a * about the youth players,dont mean others think the same as you.

 

There is also the smal matter of Barca v Inter the same night. All time low attendance at Celtic Park. Pointless and futile, Freeby but for whose benefit?
