    If they support Britain they must support England.

    Why though, I still don't see why just because they recognise and are proud of being British they should support England. Can't you be fine with being British and support the United Kingdom and support the Scotland very much?

    To be honest i think most Rangers fans fly the Union jack because it's the club colours... Most of them don't give 2 shits about the UK they just accept they are part of it wether they like it or not. I'm expecting alot of those Union Jacks to turn into French flags next season though.

    As FGSTQ... I'd say thats mainly sung just to * off some tight arsed Tims.

    None of they comments make any sense.

    They sing * Save the Queen, Britanna and so on.

    They have Union Jacks right outside the tunnel when the teams run out.

    Take this for example. At parkhead this season the whole lisbon lions stand held up pieces of card to display the Irish flag which had "KEANE" in it. So, what your saying is... everyone who held up the pieces of card to make the flag MUST support Ireland.

    Do you realise now that what you said doesn't make any sense?

    No in the card display, the tri colour was used because Keane is Irish.

    Britain = England + Scotland + Wales + NI

    If you love Britain you should love ALL the countries in it.

    Simply as.

    I hate to be a pedant, but Great Britain is made up of England, Scotland and Wales. The UK includes Northern Ireland. Its on your passport if you have a UK one. The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Again I apologise for the pedantry, but if you insist on arguing nationality.....

    Dempsey, if being British means we should support England when they're playing. Would that not also mean that if you were living in Brazil (South America) then you should also support Argentina?:97:

    That isnt totally accurate, the anology would be correct if it was to compare France-Scotland as England-Scotland are at least connected with the UK, where as Brazil-Argentina have no connection.

    I consider myself Scottish and not British, therefore my country loyalty is to Scotland, my flag is the Saltire not the Union jack or any other countries flag.
    If some rangers fans want to support england and fly the union jack, then that is their choice and not a problem to me.
