    Anyone think £8.5 million for AJ is just EXTREME. He's a good player but that money for a Championship player?

    Personally I wud not go 1 brass penny over £4 million for him.

    I'd expect around £6 million for Petrov. Kev, in todays transfer market then that's about right. Money for players nowadays is ludicrous, Dean Ashton's move to Norwich showed it for me.

    £6 million for Petrov would be fair I suppose.

    But I'm quite worried about the lack of interest in him the now. But maybe most clubs are waiting till after the WC to buy in their players.

    Don't think Andy Johnson for 11 million euros is Ridiculous. I rate him as a good quick Bellamy type player. Think he could do a job for most teams.

    I think thats high for Petrov, not for Johnson, as has been said dont see much interest in Petrov?

    but it's strange that some strikes from serie a or primera divison seem to be cheaper than Johnson who plays in Championship...

    He scored 15 goals in the Championship this season.

    He finished 5th in the Championship top goalscores this year.

    Does that merit £8.5 million?

    £8million in england is about £2million in Scotland. They have money to splash, if Johnson was a Celtic player, we'd get 2 - 3 mill for him
