Now Mowbray has gone, I'd like to see us squar the circle and drop all his stupid loan signings.

There is no use in playing any of these players for the remaining games, including Cup games.

We have made the decision to drop Mowbray before the end of the season, pressumably to have a look at Lennon & stop the rot.

The same should go for the Loanees, they won't be here next season & we need to look at ones who will be.

Rasmussen has been starved of games, while Keane hasn't missed a game. This is non-sensical now that the games a bogey.

Lennon should drop all loanees, including Keane & see if he can give some of our OWN players an opportunity to use the remaining fixtures to salvage something positive from this season.

    Boruc

    Hinkel Rogne Hooivelt O'Dea

    McGeady Crosas Ki Sung McCourt

    McGowan Rasmussen

I'm just putting up a random team, Fortune, McGinn, Samaras, Wilson, Loovens & others are all there too - Misun should get a start above O'Dea at LB if fit - just to get a look at him early before next season, cos this season is dead.
Playing Braafheid, Keane & N'Guemo just prolongs the agony & gives no hope to Celtic players.

Don't totally disagree with your sentiments mate but that midfield couldn't tackle a fish supper. Would play Fortune before McGowan as well.

Touche, I should have remembered Braafheid. He's a very good player too!

I'm not saying this should be the team, I'm saying playing a 65k a week loanee, who can't score against St Mirren isn't going to help us to prepare for next season.

I'm not having a go at Keane, he's not going to be here next season & this season is over - so he is therefore redundant. Same as all other loanees.

Let Lenny & the CELTIC players get a chance to show us what they've got. playing Spurs, Munich, Fulham & Nancy players isn't going to help us this season & it isn't going to help us next season.

You are on cloud 9 mate. Although these guys are on loan it does not mean that we are not paying for them. We will have paid loan fees and be paying their wages. Although they will not be here next season we need them in the team. Especially if we want to win atleast the cup.

We cannot play O'Dea left back just because Braafheid is on loan. It makes no sense.

I know everyone likes McCourt as I do but we have to be totally honest with ourselves, when we do not have the ball he is completely non existant. I know McGeady is not much better but he does track back. McCourt just stops running altogether when we lose possession and to be honest we need 11 players on the pitch for the rest of the season. Maloney is a good wee tracker back and I would like to know how close these injured players are to being fit.

Hooiveld I really want to see. He has been at the club a couple of months and I still know nothing about him.

McGowan had a good game last weekend but he was terrible with the rest of the team on Wed.

    the Loanees must play

Lennon is a caretaker manager which makes him possibly temporary just like the players on loan so what should we do with him?

Keane is a CELTIC player atm.

What about the ones who might be off in the summer? Do we stop playing them as well?

How about old NL picking the teaming for til the end of the season and just hoping the bhoys can play better than they have recently, making watching them more papable!

    Another good point!

What about the players who get injured next year and dont feature, taking your point to the extreme?

There's no point in playing loanees, in a dead rubber league championship in which we cannot win.

We need to prepare for next season, it doesn't matter how good the CELTIC players are who replace the loanees in this scenario. The fact that they are CELTIC players means they'll be here next season & should be given the opportunity to gain experiance & therfore be better prepared for stopping Rangers' 3IAR.

Keane, Braafheid, Kamara & N'Guemo are now stealing oxygen from CELTIC players to do this. They have not helped us to improve, the experiment has failed, the guy who thought this was a good idea has been sacked & they should be sent back to their parent clubs.

You looking into your crystal ball and seeing that none of those players will sign for us?

Keane, Kamara & Braafheid cannot be returned to their parent clubs before the summer, so paying these guys big bucks to sit on the sideline makes little sense.

As recently as yesterday, there were stories published about N'Guermo stating his desire to remain at Celtic, so I hope the moneymen can push the deal through. We may as well enjoy having Keane here whilst it lasts, and a ratio of nearly a goal a game is not a bad return. So far as Kamara goes, he needs to be given a run through the centre to show what he has to offer. He hasn't really been doing anything particularly special, but he is not naturally a wide player. We need to see him in his natural position, so we can decide of it is worth trying to keep him beyond the summer. Braafheid is the most susseptable of the loanees of being ssurplus to requirements.

It also bins our chances of making the loan deals permanent.

I'm certainly hoping we will use our option to sign N'Guemo at the end of the season. And I wouldn't give up on the likes of Braafheid and Kamara either - not till we know who our next manager will be.

The caretaker manager's job is to put out the best team with the players available, get some positivity going, and hopefully lift the Scottish Cup.
