ive always liked samaras apart from when he tries to take on an extra man when theres no need lol.

hes on fire now and i hope it continues, punt mcdonald in january and get another pacey striker in to work along side big sammy and fortune.

 

Sammy offers much more than either Fortune or McDonald up front and is in great form atm!

 

Ive always liked the big man,on form hes one of our best.you can see he gives his all for the club,he was brilliant for us today and hopefully he continue this form.
Hes got to be about our top scorer now,can anyone confirm this?

As for people slagging him for having long hair,i dont get it,its a pathetic reason not to like a player.theres a few guys round where i sit at the games who blame him if the team are playing bad cause of his hair.do they forget that the great henrik larsson had long hair for the majority of his career here.

 

If here were Ibrahimovic no one would care about his hair. As long as he stays on form he'll win people over. Celtic fans have been a bit harsh on the big man, but I have always rated him. Here's for hoping for an injury free rest of the season.

That's great, he's really turned it around & he deserves massive respect for that.

We've got a brilliant player on our hands now.

Nice to see him live up to the number 9 shirt, wish that Skippy could cope as well with the number 7 - but hopefully better luck next time, as I don't see Skippy trying his heart out to turn himself around like Sammy did.

 

I agree with Mikibhoy and Hairytoes that he wasnt up to it before but he has thrown it back in our faces and fair play to him ,its not easy taking all that flak but he dug in and look whats happening .

 

I've liked the guy from the off, always thought he had a great inner attitude, even though his mental constitution didn't always let him express that. Thing with a confidence player is that the folk around him need to give him their confidence, surround him with positivity, and gradually he will resonate with that, and it will grow in him.

Looks to me like he has been getting that from somewhere, and he is really making a statement now.

 

I have noticed that whenever Sammy scores that Robson is the first to really shower him with accolades. I think Robbo is emanating the confidence in him.

 

He is still young at 23 and he will be a player for us and like the Hand said confidence is a major factor in any players game ,i think he wasnt getting much encouragement in the past from McDonald as it looked as if they didnt get on [body language] but that seems to have picked up now aswell ,now lets see what he really has to offer ,im sure there is a lot more to come from him.

Said it during the game but it really is amazing how much better he plays when his confidence is up. Fair enough he still makes the wrong decisions at times but if he played like that in every game he would be my favourite player.

 

How good is Samaras right now? Am really enjoying the streak he's on; great to have someone consistently scoring.

 

Robson is getting the big licks these days but this is worst I've heard.

Thought Sammy looked fitter and sharper today, think Robsons been working him extra in the gym?

 

Once again delighted with the big mans performance again today. Absolute class. Please * let him keep it up unlike last season when the injury * him up for the rest of the season. If he stays injury free and keeps the confidence high he will bang them in for fun.

 

His goals always appear so effortless and he scores an equal amount with his left and right foot, rare.. The way he slices through defenders from central and wide positions makes you believe he could be something special. I hope he manages to stay injury free and do some damage in the world cup/.

 

Especially with his height!
