Europa: My Ideal Group- What's Yours?

Pots are pretty much done and dusted now.

My ideal group would be:

Roma
CELTIC
Fulham
Sheriff Tiraspol

Reasoning? Well, missing out on the CL, I'd like a glamourous tie or two, and Roma would certainly give us that. Fulham would provide good interest, being an English side, whilst Sheriff looks a guaranteed 6 points to me.

I'd really hate to get a group like

Shakhtar Donetsk (please Lord not again!!)
CELTIC
Dinamo Bucharest
BATE Borisov

villa and zenit have been knocked out so thats a bit of a bonus for us i wouldnt have liked to play villa after watching them against liverpool and wouldnt have liked to travel to russia either!!!!!!!!1

 

I'd prefer progressing to the latter stages where the better teams should be expected to face off, rather than drawing these teams early on with the chance of being out on our arses early doors. Additionally, if we have european football beyond christmas, this may be an insentive for potential signing targets in the next transfer window. I'd be more than happy with a group of;

Panathaniakos
Celtic
Hapoel Tel-Aviv
Sheriff Tiraspol

 

wouldnt want roma, they demolished the team they played and totti is on fire, we are no matter what gona get a big team in our group as we are in pot 2, i would want a weaker team than fulham alos, as they are very good and organsied, wouldnt be ideal

Part of me really wants Roma so i can get over and see one of my all time football heroes Francesco Totti which i would love even though he would probably rip us to shreds which is why the other part of me is desperate to avoid them, they probably win it,

 

the way our luck in european draws has been recently is unbaleivable so hopefully we are due a little break :icon_mrgreen:

so I'd be happy with VR, Ventspils and annan athletic - if available.
