hey i posted in the other thread, id love to play with fellow celt fans but how do i go about this? no one responded to my other post my GT is same as here, jquigz24. im assuming id need an invite or tryout, whichever

 

Im not getting the chance to work on my pro just now, my brother is over for the weekend so we are just playing against each other.

Will be on from Sunday/Monday to play clubs.

FIFA 12 ULTIMATE TEAM

As a first time user of ultimate team, can someone give us the low down on it.
im going to start one for the first time cause according to a mate i have a quality pack ,whatever the * that means.

so anything ultimate team related post here , PS3 users also welcome

 

Ultimate team is a trading card/football game.

It's split into three levels.

Bronze cards range from 0-64
Silver cards range from 64-74
Gold cards range from 74-100

There are three variations of each card level, Team of the week(black) Shiny and standard cards.
Team of the week are super rare, Shiny cards are fairly rare and standard one's are fairly common.

The main aim of the game is to make your team the "Ultimate Team".. This can be accomplished by trading cards for profits and playing the game and completing matches.
You'll earn coins which can be used to buy cards in the trading section or buy the card packs from the storefront.

The main objective is to get your team with a 100% chemistry rating, This can be accomplished by acquiring players from the same Country, Club and leagues and by putting the in their correct positions and formations.

This is my team from last years edition note all players are Spanish and play in La Liga in correct formations and positions

 

ive been having a go at this, and to be honest, really cant understand how people manage to buy players that are worth 40k+. ive had a fairly not bad team of gold players, but couldnt get anywhere near that amount of coins.

a tip i was told was to get managers that are shiny, as they have contract %'s that gives you an extra few games out of players, upto the max of 15% extra (afaik)

any other tips to get loads of coins would be helpful, but i dont know any cept for buy low and sell high, just tryin to find out who to buy in the first instance to sell high again

I've not played a single game yet and i have about 70k

 

lol dont understand that at all. seen videos where people are sayin they only make 500 coins or so per player, surely youd be there for ages tryin to get 70k coins

 

It's down to pot luck most of the time mate.

I usually pick a league and try memorize the prices and look for a bargain, Found a Scott Sinclair shiny silver card for 5k sold for 45k.

Like i said it was someone not knowing the true value and me being lucky enough to log in at the right time.

I didnt realise silver cards held that kind of value!

 

A tip for all, 74 rated shiny silvers and 64 rated shiny bronze with high pace is where I make my profits.

 

les have you manged to finish a game and it not cut you out ? my record is 0-0-7 but all 7 games i won but it dissconects me straight after the game

 

Yes finished all mines buddy, I believe there's an issue with the PS3 version and that there will be a patch released tonight/tomorrow morning.
