Flag Displays?

Why do we not do these more often? Creates a really good atmosphere. Anytime we do we only ever have the display in one stand, never understood why we don't just do the full ground like the Huns do, a tri-colour would look amazing IMO .

 

it is groups of fans who do these displays like the green brigade,jungle bhoys and rude bhoys. The groups are self funded and money is not given by the club towards these displays. The displays cost alot of money.

 

we have done a tri - colour one before it was brilliant, i think it was Roy Keanes first start at Celtic Park against Killie.

 

if you want more go on to the green brigade, jungle bhoys,and rude bhoys site's and make a donation thats one of the ways they raise money for these displays

 

Aye mate, I was meaning across all 4 stands though, would look class.

I'm sure the Huns themselves funded the flags for the Union Jack pish they always have? We should get to see a full display at least once.

 

Yeah id like that , maybe even the 3 big stands ( jock stein , lisbon lions and north stand)

 

You can donate to the junglebhoys on their website to fund things like this ..
Like someone else said it's very expensive to do things like this

 

I would like to see a Tri colour at the Jock stein stand and a Saltire at the Lisbon stand (my end) and at the main stand a green background with white letters that say ONE CELTIC

 

The only saltire you would see in a celtic park card display would be a green one.they would never have a Blue saltire card display.
i would prefer a Tri - colour one tbh.

you think if rangers didnt have blue in there colours there would be alot more scotland flags?

 

I think there should be far more scottish flags at celtic games, its a shame, you can't let rangers hijack it, scottish and irish flags for us and let them have their union jack, perfect.

 

I would love to see a lot more Scotland flags at paradise instead of blue and white lets make it green and white instead of all the irish flags

 

I'd also like to see more Saltires at Parkhead. I wouldn't mind if they were blue and white but I also wouldn't mind if they were green and white. It's obvious that people don't take as many Saltires to Parkhead due to their colour.

 

yeh i agree with that. when you watch celtic you hardly see any of our nation flags but millions of irish flags.

 

It's mainly due to the fact that Scotland flags are blue, the colour of this manky mob from another part of Glasgow.

I don't give a *. I'll be taking my Saltire with me on Wednesday regardless if it's blue & white. I'm SCOTTISH, and Celtic is a SCOTTISH team, but yous are right in the aspect of the colors. But we should all wave alot more Saltires.

 

I will be taking my saltire to a few Celtic matches this season.

 

Scottish and proud to be.

Its a different shade of blue anyway.
