    I have a few Spurs friends, so I really want to win this one. I hope we start the same 11 that we will be playing against Dynamo.

    I think if our first 11 can have a good run out against Spurs it bodes well for the qualifier, even if recent history shows that Spurs are * early on (we still got bent over last year to them).

    i thourght i heard somewhere there was a limit on the subs , anyway id like to see fox get atleast 70 mins and as this is our first game agiasnt real tough opponents id like a good team. on a side note i thorght mc court looked amazing in cardiff , did he get any game time yesterday and if so did he look any good?

    i noticed that to. it says when celtic game was half time that they are allowed 6 changes at half time. but barca changed there whole entire team?

    Thought I would give this a bump seeing as once we beat the mighty Spurs tomorrow we will have trophy number 2 in the cabinet! (Any chance of this becoming a sticky thread seeing as the Al-Ahly one is still up there?) :50:

    Looking forward to see what kind of team Mowbray is going to put out with the CL qualifier being only 3 days away, whether he will go with the side he is thinking of for Wednesday or keep them rested for the big game?

    Id expect to see the side that will nearly start wednesday start the game, then with most if not all being subbed.

    Either way, a win would go very nice to get a bit of momentum going

    I think we should start the team for the Dynamo game:

    Boruc
    Hinkel Loovens Caldwell naylor
    McGeady Donati n'Guemo Maloney
    Fortune McDonald

    If we can sub them all at half time, do so. Gets them more cohesiveness and confidence playing together, without tiring them. Best way to prepare for Wednesday.

    As early as it is in the season, we need more confidence among our starting 11 than they need rest.

    I would like to see the starting 11 for dynamo start this game, then have wholesale changes, but on channel67 they were talking about a shadow team playing the spurs game, so im not sure what TM will do if it is the fringe players then i expect it will be.

    I hope it isn't a fringe team, this could be two trophies already this season and although they dont stand for much, i am sure the players will gain a real morale boost knowing that the won a competition which contained the holders of the CL.

    Good thing about today is that Barca play first, so we will know what we need to do to win this competition, if Barce dont win by more than 4 clear goals we only need to draw against spurs.

    Sorry havnt been on in awhile but was happy with the way we played Fri and I think he'l start with the same team and change at h/t.Players can get injured in training also,its part of the game.Its only our 4th pre season game so we need to gel everyone together

    i dont see caddis as a full back although i thought he looked decent as a winger and i dont think hinkel has let us down but i hope we pump spurs although i like harry maybe then we can get pav on loan hehe

    i think he will play naylor as he has played well recently, i also think we will be desperate to win tonight because we lost respect last season when they hammered us and would also like to get the players confidence up for dinamo
