*** Probably the best player we've been linked to thus far.

Looks like Mogga really knows what he's doing so far.

jack we thought that about fortune, Mowbray seems to have the pulling power over all these players. Delighted with Mogga already, cant wait till season starts

Magnificent isn't quite the word I'd use. He was on loan with us last season. It took him a couple of months to get use to the rough and tumble of football over here. Most of us Baggies would liked him to have stayed.

TBF though, at the tail end of last season he showed he is a quality player. He's a winger/supporting striker with some pace and skill. Should have scored a couple more than he did for us.

Not surprised to see him linked to you guys as he does have soft feet.

based on some of the highlights ive watched of wba games last season he doesnt look that good. Just watched the game against liverpool at the tail end of last season and even fortune had a couple of total sitters.

Well hes not gonna set the world alight playing for WBA against Liverpool is he to be fair. But i would be delighted if this went through looked qaulity in his stint and could terrorize in the SPL if he can learn to take a beating.

I watched WBA last season and I think they weren't good enough for EPL standard. No ofence to you, but I don't think they deserved to stay up, even when I enjoyed watching them play. There was some better football out there and they couldn't match others.

Hence, the struggling team in EPL can't make it in the league and that pulls the fact Menseguez can't improve much in that kind of team. Another fact is that he came to Baggies from Argentinian league and he had to get used to English syle of play, which is pretty tough for any foreigner who signs for EPL team because English style of play is unique. He couldn't do much there and if he got more games, he still wouldn't impress just because of that mentioned above.

He may sign for Celtic, which means that he can't be regarded like he was in WBA. Two different worlds Celtic and West Brom. I personally think that he would tear apart SPL, especially after some shows he put in when I watched him in San Lorenzo. Great pace, dribbling and movement off the ball. Therefore, I think he'd be excellent signing for us.

    Decent player.

He's had a wee bit of time to adapt to the British game so the transition should be slightly smoother, if he comes to us.

We mainly played him off Fortune, so I would imagine that's what Mowbray has in mind. We didn't see him too much on the right.

The fee to us was £800,000 if he'd have signed.

We went down. Can't argue with that fact. I think Mowbray thought the prem would be a breeze having been there with Ipswich. He only figured out how to play it in the 2nd half of the season and by then it was too late... that combined with a shoddy defence and no natural finisher.

JCM improved lots in our team, it just took him a while. His debut was far from good, but the last 4 or 5 games he looked sharp.

We weren't that bad. A bit of luck here and there and we could have stayed up. We just missed that extra bit of quality.

    Too right.

If you sign JCM, I think he'll be a good player for you. Wasn't knocking his quality... just don't think he's magnificent.

This lad looked fantastic in the few games i saw him play near the end of the season he was starting to impress v the the best in the prem , looked a right good player and i think he would be a nailed on starter up here , im sure West brom could have bought him for under a mill or 1,5 ,

Best player we have been linked with by far, didnt show his best at WBA but when i have seen him playing in argentina with san lorenzo he looked * brilliant, typical argentine, good technique, good balance, good fast feet and the gile spl players cream over.

I have to admit i wanted to see wba stay up as i admire a team that plays good football ala arsenal but more credit to wba as they dont have the superstar players arsenal have nor the budget so why dwell on the mere fact they went down and respect that with the tools they had they put up a decent fight of it and yes with a bit of luck maybe have stayed up !!
