Saw that earlier. Quite surprised but I suppose he's fed up of being on the bench.

 

I dont understand that.... he is 5 times the player that berbatov is...

Thats what they get for stalling earlier in the season, although it wasn't straight forward I guess.

Glad he is going to be staying in the EPL, or so it seems, as he is one of my favourite players.

I don't know what's more ludicrous. Calling Berbatov * and saying Tevez is better or calling Benzema overrated.

He's underrated, especially if you listen to the English media who claim he's untested outside of France which isn't a good leauge according to them.

Berbatov - Extremely talented player. Work rate lets him down.
Tevez - Nowhere near as talented but makes up for it in work rate.
Benzema - Potentially a world-class striker. One of the best already and only young.

 

If Berbatov was a money grabber, he'd have went to Man City, not United. :bbpd:

 

I never said anything bad about Tevez or Berbatov.

Benzema is overrated, seen him play, good goalscorer but he simply isn't worth that kind of money Lyon wanted for him. And I doubt that he'll manage to do well at Man. Utd. now that Ronaldo's off to Real.

I think the price tag on Benzema is terrible, but as a player, I still think he is underrated. Of course Lyon are gonna overrate him, they want as much money as possible for him.

 

I know, I was just saying that these guys are pretty quality players.

Can't see him secceeding in Man. Utd. because they don't have quality wingers anymore. Can't see anyone setting up a goal for him. I'm not saying that he wouldn't manage to do it by himself, but they shouldn't rely on him only. Tevez and Ronaldo are gone and it's a big handicap for Red Devils. Giggs isn't getting any younger and I can see young Tosic getting his chance more often. Maybe he can provide good assists for Benzema.

 

Tevez is 10x the player that Berbatov is, Thatll be him away to City or Chelsea although Liverpool were mentioned aswell, man utd's loss that one

Your reasonomg of why he wouldnt succeed is because youve described him as a target man.

When personally I think he's more of a second striker he creates his own chances.

His price tag is too much for his current ability but I dont think its too much for potential ability.

 

I rate Benzema, he scores goals in the Champions League and he scores plenty in France, French football I think is the most defensive in Europe out all the decent Leagues so he does well to score 20+ a season playing in there.

I think Man Utd could fall apart, Ronaldo was the making of their success, he took 2/3/4 guys on him a game and let other have space and he was also the one who would be involved in most of their goals. Tevez isn't great but was still a useful player who they'll miss as I doubt they'll get anyone as good. I think Man Utd's midfield is poor, Scholes is past is, Carrick is over rated, Fletcher is a hard working player with no quality and so is Park and Hargreaves is injured all the time. Chelsea and Liverpool have better midfields by a distance and even more so now with Ronaldo leaving.
