Mogga all the way for me.

Hibs were a very decent team when he was manager there, where he brought through the likes of Brown, Riordan, Whittaker, Thomson and others.

I think we could well start to beat teams again, the Celtic way-free flowing and attacking football.

i dunno what is is, i just have a feeling that if Mowbary gets the job, it could be Strachan all over again, some fans will just not take to him

They will Steven. The style of football will soon change peoples minds.

People object now because he hasnt managed in the CL or won a major trophy. But if we give him a chance he can do both.

We need a manager that will unite the fans. We can't have this half like him half don't bollocks. It's absolute * and helps nobody.

Im coming round to the idea of Mowbray as manager. He works well with limited funds, plays good football and has a history at the club. He took WBA into the Prem, and almost kept them up by playing attractive football with an awful squad. I think he'd be decent here. A knowledge of the game here is crucial also.

    ^^^^

That's a fantastic post my friend. Agree with every word :50:

You're right about Mowbray's sides defensive frailty but I'd like to think he'd become slightly more pragmatic after his EPL experience and would address that.

    1) That article doesn't mention us staying away from "dross". It says WBA expect him to be manager next season, because how do they know if Celtic are willing to pay compensation?

If they said "we expect Tony to leave", it'd be disrespectful to Tony, Celtic and the fans of WBA.

    2) How is he dross?

i reckon mowbray would do a good job, would play exciting football that you would go and watch without wanting to throw yourself from the top of the stand

I'm sorry but i don't want Mowbray. Yes he tried to play football but what is nice football when you're relegated? A good manager for me would have treid to change the style for results.

Saying that, this is all about opinions and no matter who gets it,i will back him and hope he does well.

Oh *. I don't know about anyone else but the thought of Owen Coyle being our manager scares the bejeezus out of me! It's barely over a year since he was managing ST.JOHNSTONE! And while he did do a good job there, and has done well at Burnley, I really do think it's too early for him.

I really really fear for us if he gets it. :54:

He hasn't done anything big, and he can't put up a decent defense. He just isn't something promising.

Realistically Tony Mowbray is favorite to get the job. I would love Owen Coyle but he'll probably want a crack at the premiership, Moyles & Billic are just wet dreams. I'll back big mogga if he's man enough to take the hot seat!

on bbc teletext there it is sayin celtic would need to pay £1m compensation for to get tony mowbray. we could easily afford that and i think he would do a great job:bbpd:
