so what would you do for next season ?

i really like the look of caldwell and loovens do you think we could bring in a nother one or bring mcmanus back in .

we've looked more solid without mcmanus and i think the only problem now lies with the left back position

so bring in more CB'S or leave the ones we have just now to fight it out :50:

I would bring in another quality one, but start the season with Loovens and Caldwell. We need strength in that area so a bit of competition for places won't hurt anyone.

We definately need 2 LBs aswell if Naylor is on his way as predicted.

Dont think we need centre backs well caldwell and loovens have a good partnership wouldnt change it hopefully when mcmanus come back he can warm the bench and also young cuthbert has had a really good season while out on loan with st.mirren so he should be looking for the break through and we also have o'dea :50:

I'm happy enough with the look of Caldwell and Loovens, with O'Dea as back up, and McManus as a last resort. I'd spend the cash on a prolific striker and silky midfielder, as well as the obvious left back.

We need a CB to challenge Caldwell and Loovens.

But I would start the season with those 2.

I'm not confident in any of the CB's apart from Caldwell and Loovens so I think we should get another quality one in to challenge them for a spot in the team.

Spot on mate, Loovens and Heid - having now played a few games beside each other - seem to have struck up a good understanding with each other and a formidable partnership.

Mate, it still riles me up when I think about that tackle :47:

I really believe that boy would be Celtic captain by now if it wasnt for that.

That * Ganea, or whatever his name was, should have had his * bollocks fed to him.

He was a class act before his injury, really feel bad for the guy but hes not the same player as he was IMO.

He would definately have been captain.

Yep, would love to see him get back to full fitness, and full confidence, but I dont see it happening. He surely must get flashbacks when going for 50/50 tackles, be impossible not to.

    * shame.

I personally think we have enough CB's , as mentioned Caldwell and Loovens seem to forming a decent partnership

Just a quality LB is all we need in defence imo using Misun as cover if needed

I don't think we need to sign any more centre halves. I think we have 4 centre backs who are capable of doing a job for us. Heid and Loovens seem to be doing quite well together so I'd be happy enough if they were our first choices. In all honesty though, I think we all know that Stephen McManus will be straight back in the team at the start of next season.
