these guys look really good! good as in 1st team starters (not as in good potential)! so pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease let it be true!!!!!!!!!! i don't want anything else for next season, just these 2 and a left back! jankos goal scoring record is amazing and shabalinhos dribbling looks really good too!

 

Agent: Janko set for Celtic talks

Marc Janko's agent claims the Salzburg striker will hold talks about joining Celtic next week, with Tottenham also reportedly interested.

Agent Georg Stangassinger said: "Marc remains open to the idea of Celtic after he was impressed by his talks with the coach.

"I have since had one more conversation with Celtic and we will talk again next week.

"Tottenham have had him watched recently but we're still more in contact with Celtic than any other club."

One player who looks set to complete a move to Parkhead is goalkeeper Dominic Cervi.

The 22-year-old American, who has a trial with Celtic last year, has successfully applied for an Italian passport.

He said: "Once everything is wrapped up, I will head back to Glasgow to finalise that deal

 

Very very good news if true, he is a target man/goalscorer, like skippy and vennegoor rolled into 1 except better

 

I remember a few months back someone saying he was the leading goal scorer in Europe this season, up to that point anyway, anyone know where he's finished or thereabouts?

 

Frei, Pavlyuchenko, Bent......another one added to the list of big strikers we won't sign.

He's 6 foot 5 and has scored 57 goals in 73 for Salzburg. An incredible record at any level! Could be the perfect foil for McDonald.

I wouldn't get to excited so soon, if teams like spurs come in we are fooked.They can offer double the money we can on wages alone.

Not a chance in * of getting a player like Janko. Its been years since celtic went for a player of his calibure. Just another bent, pavylechenko etc as one guy mentioned earlier in the thread.

Its nice to dream but until i see Wgs or celtic website announcing details of a possible signing i can safely say wot aload of * lol.

We waste a * of alota time talking about players like this joining the club, we all get our hopes up to be made mugs of with signings like flood, pat mccourt, mcginn etc. Joke!

 

Janko could be a big hit, desperatly need a proven striker! He'll probably go where the money is & it's not in the * spl thats for sure!! We'll End up with fletcher & some other dumplin.

 

Of his calibre? He's had 7 caps for Austria and plays for Salzburg ffs. It's not as if he's at a major league.

 

Honestly guys the negativity in this thread is *, take a bit of pride in supporting Celtic for a change.
