Just had my Higher English paper, went into it dreading it....
Went surprisingly well:icon_mrgreen:The Close Reading was pretty straight forward- easier than the previous years papers IMO.
Essay paper was terrific:icon_mrgreen:8 questions came up that fitted the texts we had done in class
    How'd everyone else find it?

Close Reading was alright, was liking the fact that there were many understanding questions... definitely easier than previous years...

Nearly spunked myself when I saw Q9 in the essays paper. Moulded it to George Orwell's 'A hanging' and wrote a very good essay which I deliberately kept linking to the techniques of non-fiction to clarify this as it would be quite confusing for the marker if I didn't as hanigng uses both fiction and non-fiction techniques.

Wanted to write about theme for DOAS, so did Q4 on the conflicting values of *'s American dream, Biff's American Dream (or lack of) and the real American dream.

Could've answered 7 questions in Paper Two, they must've been on happy pills when they made that paper...

Anyone got exams next week? Got drama on Thursday, for I, am an actor!

I'm also going to fail it because I've not revised any of the terms and can't remember any of the stuff we did for our exam piece.

I have my Spanish oral exam on Thursday, I'm * petrified. Not much you can do for it in the way of revision either, just got to hope for the best and maybe for Onion to telepathically tell me Spanish stuff during it:icon_mrgreen:
