This Summer

Celtic always seemed to be linked with expensive players in terms of fees and wages. Ie- tamas. Though we want big signings, and i understand entirely, There has been some good bargains such as Caldwell and Mcdonald in recent years.

Though a big name would excite me i must say.

 

we all want a big name but tbh i will take anyone as long as they bring success

 

I'd love to see a big name but like duncinho said, anyone that brings success will do.

Btw duncinho, not meaning to sound like a poof here but check the size of Jans bulge in your avator.

 

I think we need a big name, not ha done for a while, If I was strachan I would sign Marc Janko

Its nowhere near as simple as saying " if i was manager he'd play for us"

Blackburn were also linked with a £7 million move for him,who would have more wages out of blackburn and us?

 

Not what Im saying mate, just saying he the player I would like to see in the hoops !!! Hes more realistic than saying sign Fabregas Ronaldo etc

Never happen, we'll be waiting to see if we can win the * league against the really * Rangers team, who are * in every way - but who are in a great position to steal the title from us.

We'll then need to wait again, if we lose the title to the * Rangers team, to see if we can qualify for the Europe.

If we actually had signed someone, then...well, you know the rest.

i think celtic need to splash out on at least one big name to sell the jerseys so to speak! i think we are due that? but wether that happens well ! i wouldnt hold my breath tbh.

 

I see no reason why we can't bring in a quality player or two, rather than beefing up the squad, especially now that the likes of Bobo and Donati will be leaving. Some might say we don't have the funds etc etc but we have the money to bring in squad player after squad player so if stop doing that then we are WELL capable of spending 5mil on a player at £35k a week.

Whether or not we will is a different matter entirely

 

Also, Donati, and Balde are on monster wages. 20,000 and 30,000 pw

I would like to think celtic this summer will take the money we normally spend and add it to the money we would give to the bank for our dept and sign someone a bit better than what we have.
We can always dream eh.
