Watched The Departed the other night for the umpteenth time and it still confuses me at parts. Great film though. Jack Nicholson is great in it.

I tried to watch it before too, think I got about 20 minues in and just thought pure pish. I cant watch any fantasy stuff with dragons, harry potter, batman, superman, xman etc just dont have any interest in it. Think they are all weird things too as you always know that they are going to beat the bad guys or save the world.

I would include that among them as I have attemped to watch that too and just cant get into it, cars turning into big robots :nonono:

I think you need to be into those types of things from a young age or have read the books or that as I just cant get into them. I went to the pictures about 10 year ago and seen The Hulk that was really the first type of film like that I seen and I didnt like it. About a year ago I watched the first Star Wars film, thought it was OK but I wouldnt watch any other ones. Transformers, Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter I have attempted to watch but they dont appeal. Other superhero ones ive never really attempted to watch but I know I wouldnt be into them.

Anyhoo, watched The Departed last week. Good film but * actually happens at the end. Was it revenge or was he working for your man as well?

Love Mark Wahlburg btw, class actor

12 Years a Slave and Captain Phillips... both amazing movies.

I turned off Lone Survivor after about 10 minutes, was like a marine recruitment film.

    Zero Dark Thirty.

I thought it was pretty good.

Before that, White House Down. That was pretty cool. Stupid, but cool.

Should have stuck with it. Good film, although a bit exaggerated in parts.

Wolf of wall street - Great film, not as amazing as some people are making out but a solid 8/10 film.

Got Don John, 12 years a slave and escape plan on the computer to watch. Looking forward to 12 years a slave.
