I would actually prefer Sporar as he seems to be a more rounded striker..

One of the posts under the initial tweet stated that not to long ago, they would have been surprised if he had been sold for €4m. That being said, many have said that the polish league are selling themselves short when selling their players.

I hope he can continue making progress in the same manner with us and we could have a real player.

Just watched this video, pace and a really good powerful finish.

I think we are trying to get him in before he fully hits form and then becomes out of our reach. That's what I'm thinking judging by his record etc.

Sporar does look more rounded but hes 5 years older and a different type of forward.

If he can play on the right too, would be a massive bonus.

i think Genoa are in for Klimala also, but if we have arranged a medical then hopefully we have beaten them in the chase

Readying him for next year , still think another who is already able to start in the team now will be brought in .
Wot I see is he has deceptive pace and catches defenders by surprise .

Hope this guy is good. His goal record isn’t exactly outstanding and some of our striker signings, especially in January windows, leave a lot to be desired. Here’s hoping though.

Plenty of Polish Tims at CP and Glasgow to make him feel welcome and settle in confident style.

That game looked very entertaining, defences very ropey at times but some of the forward play was excellent especially the goal at approx 1min mark.

Saying that, January windows are general works in progress going for a decent price? That is a huge part of our business model so here's hoping.

It's a fair bit for us to pay considering his record etc.

The league hes coming from as well and size of club I'm surprised we are paying as much.

Definitely more of an element of a gamble to this (realise every transfer is) but I'd hope we have plans to perhaps get someone more senior in too.

I'm actually quite excited with this signing now, Poland has produced some fantastic strikers the last 10 years. Lewandowski, Piatek, Milik, all came straight from the polish league and hit the ground running, Kownacki looked like a great talent too, albeit he's stalled a bit. It's a market we should definitely be looking at.

There's no doubt Bayo is an excellent player. We just didn't know he was injury prone at the time. He needs a good run of games to get himself acquainted with us and he'll be a huge problem for defensive tactics due to his powerful style and range of finishing.

Plus I doubt Lubo would ever sell us snake oil.

    Have they though?

We've lost 4 games out of 38 in all competitions this season. That's an astounding record for a team whose system has been rumbled.

Seriously though I'd be happy with this. He is frighteningly quick..

We saw what a pish Burke could do with his lightening pace when pressing. If we could get an actual striker of quality pressing from the front with that running...then he will terrify defences and give us a completely different option..

Eddy is rapid but he likes to come deep more often than not. This guy is off the shoulder running in behind like a quicker Griff..

Big things expected of him as well so hopefully this is some major coup. He's looked good in all the bits I've seen of him. When we were first linked I didn't even see a single bit of footage about him..

What? Bayo has shown nothing yet to suggest he’s good enough for us never mind being an excellent player.

Larsson recommended Bangura did he not?
