What about this non entity, some the signings we have done in the last 6 months are nothing short of shocking.
He was brought in to improve things, another one picking up huge wage for a job we would all dream of.

Clearly he has brought in some decent signings. Laxalt, Ajeti, Barkas are all good players - the issues is bigger than them.

Duffy is the big calamity, that aside he is not the issue.

Lennon could have Messi, Ronaldo etc in this side and still * this up.

Given the thought that we put into our last managerial appointment, is it any surprise that our recruitment in other areas is so poor?

I give you Laxalt, but the other two the jury’s out.
1 good signing, not good enough.

Honestly? On paper guys like Ajeti, Barkas, Turnbull, Laxalt are all very smart signings. I'd like to see the lot of them under an actual football manager before judging Hammond on his scouting.

I think most of us will agree the signings looked good at the time. Let's get a real manager in and see what they are about then

The signing have all been pish. Even Laxalt who looked not bad was grim today.

We haven't signed one player that has been a game changer. Turnbull might come good but he probably was nothing to do with Hammond.

We have made decent signings he is far from the issue the fact that the squad new and old aren't playing for the manager is the issue

Can we get rid of this * while we're at it. Scandalous the amount of millions we have wasted recently on * players. People tell us we are well ahead of sevco financially, we wont be much longer with a scouting team who seem determined to throw away millions on embarrassingly bad players. Dominic McKay, sort this out.

With a manager so *-poor and non-existent tactics its kind of hard to judge who's a good or bad signing.

Stiliyan Petrov was a bad signing at first.

Not having that. These cowardly players should not be allowed to hide behind Neil Lennon. They are all grown men getting paid tens of thousands of pounds a week to play football. Of course the manager can help with their performance but how * pathetic are they if they cant take responsibility for their own performance.

Are they supposed to get together and just come up with their own tactics and gameplan or just say * it we'll do whatever we like individually? :56:

    Don't be so daft.

A completely pre historic attitude. The amount of money players are paid is absolutely irrelevant. It really doesn’t matter if you are playing for Pollok Juniors or Real Madrid. The fundamentals of the game are the same.

It is the responsibility of the manager to practice a style of play on and off the ball so that it becomes sub conscious when being carried out.

So much so that each player has a designated role and specific responsibilities within the team, and that if one of them doesn’t carry out the role it should be obvious as to where it’s going wrong.

Lenny the tactical genius papped 11 bodies on to a park with no game plan, co-ordinated no attacking patterns of play, worked on no shape off the ball, had no organised press, didn’t work on a strategy to defend set pieces, shouted generic motivational words you’d hear from clueless maws at their sons under 10’s game on a Sunday morning. “Run” “More urgency” “Come on” “Well done”

    * rid neck man.

Also, no * has been able to hide even if they wanted to, our clown of an ex manager belittled them in front of the press any time we got a negative result to hide his clear and obvious deficiencies.

New footballing idea, we aren't using a manager or coach ever again - the players should just be good enough to do the job.
Peter Lawwell had the right idea all along - just buy players, doesnt matter, because they just be good regardless. Flawless planning.

The poor wee fragile souls cant put in a performance without being delicately encouraged by Neil Lennon. What the * kind of payers have we signed? Give me * break man, of course the manager plays a big part but these feeble * can not be allowed to hide behind big bad Lenny. This season is NOT all down to Lennon, the players have to take some responsibility too.

Seriously mate, what do you think the day to day duties of a football manager should be?

    Genuine question.

Our players didn’t look as if they trained together. Every player got the ball and passed it to the next available player, rinse and repeat.

It’s so obvious we didn’t work on any style of play or regular attacking phases.

You should be able identify a manager by the way his teams play. The truth is, when you watched us, that could have been Neil Lennon managing us or anyone else on this forum and the end result would have been the exact same.

I think the players Chucked it after we got papped out the CL whilst not playing a striker then Lennon flung the players under the bus. Most of the players will come here to play in the CL.

The results on the park ultimately come down to the manager which is why they get punted.
