The more I think about it the more I genuinely think we have a genuine chance of second place.

We can beat PSG at home, and Anderlecht away is more than winnable given their * start this season. If we get off to that kind of start then you never know.

I am convinced we'll get at least third and go on a decent run in the Europa.

We all know we can beat anyone at home on our night, but even in recent years our performances at Parkhead have been a bit underwhelming compared to 2000-2008.

Monchengladbach last year being a good example. I'm hoping that our CL campaign last season was just BR finding his feet with a relatively new squad of players at the time and we'll be much improved on a European front this year.

Just a shame that his first two groups have been arguably the hardest out of both years. We could have done with a bit of an easier group to properly find our feet, especially after coming through 3 qualifying rounds, but I still think we'll take at least third place.

Our front 4 are good enough to cause anyone an issue. We will also have good firepower off the bench to cause any teams a problem.

The sitting two should be okay. Ntcham looks a cut above and will perform nicely at this level. I hope Brown is able to lift his level again.

Tierney at LB is good enough. The other 4 positions in our team (RB, CB, CB and GK) are quite poor in terms of the options we have. Simunovic may be able to perform at this level, but that is yet to be proven. The rest of our options aren't good enough for this level of European football anymore.

Anderlecht drew away to Gent, seem to be having a horrible start to the season.

That's the ticket Deebo. 2nd place is definitely up for grabs, lets not kid ourselves. We should only think of 3rd place as a parachute if we are squeezed out. But PSG are definitely beatable at Parkhead.

Although I'm conceding PSG will be overwhelming favourites for the first game I have to say 10/1 is ridiculous based on howw they traditionally travel alone, they have had some shocking away defeats especially Barcelona last season, they are certainly suspect on their travels and bearing in mind our crowd and the energy it can give the players I wouldn't rule out a good result and at 10/1 that's worth a punt

Don't really get why anderlecht were in the pot above us. Regardless, can see us taking at least 4 points from them.

It's based on your performances in europe over the last 5 years.

    Anderlecht last five season:

2016/17: Semi Final of Europa League
2015/16: Last 16 of Europa League
2014/15: Last 32 of Europa League (after champions league 3rd)
    2013/14: Champions League Group stage
    2012/13: Europa League Group stage

    Whereas Celtic:

    2016/17: Champions League Groups
    2015/16: Europa Groups
    2014/15: Europa last 32
    2013/14: Champions Groups
    2012/13: Champions last 16

So, they edge it on co-efficient.

Fantastic group to be a part of, you should be proud!

I happen to be a student, don't suppose there's any chance I could give you something for the ticket?

We can beat anyone at home in theory.

When we have beat the big sides in the past though it has usually been a combination of defensive tactics and sheer grit and luck.

The defensive side of things is my concern. I don't think we can keep these sides out. PSG arguably have a better XI than Bayern now.

We really have been handed a * of a task again. Seen that Thomas Meunier be interviewed on SSN and he was asked if they think PSG now have the best squad in Europe with Mbappe coming and he said along with Real and Bayern I think so. Hard to disagree...and we've got 2 of the 3:56:
