Upsetting if reported rumours are true massive downgrade. If this is the route we are going down for the 10 season it sums this club up. * Take.

I'd definitely take Hart. As much as everyone wants Forster back it doesnt look likely. Personally i think he has just used us once again to get his name back out there to premiership clubs. We did it in his first spell after he wasn't good enough for newcastle and we have done it again when hes not been good enough for Southampton.

i Think Woods can most definitely get Harts confidence back and theres no doubt a confident Hart is a top class keeper.

Aye I agree with you quite underwhelmed considering the season we are preparing for. But unfortunately it’s looking likely so I’m hoping his comments regarding Stevie woods getting him back to his best is correct. As imo Hart will not come here with the same intentions as fraz who wanted to show he was a player still. He will come here with his ego having no clue football exists in scotland much like the Rangers experiments we have seen through the recent years. Bit of a gamble for the 10 season and I’m sure a large majority will agree.

yes woods worked wonders with Fraz. But it’s a complete different situation with hart he will stroll up here with his ego and arrogance and I doubt a lot of our squad will take to that. So possible dressing room upset is very likely. At the end of the day Fraser played his heart out joe hart is coming up here like the experiments we’ve seen rangers using recently. Ego hyped players with a bad attitude to Scottish football who end up leaving with there tails between there legs.

This is becoming the new Scott McKenna thread/fear of the window. Come home big Fraz, you know it makes sense. :shamrock:

At his best he is a good goalkeeper. But so was Craig Gordon. Just like Gordon, the issue is that he is pretty * when he's not at his best

I really don’t think Hart is as bad as a lot of people are making out. Yes, his confidence is shot to bits, but let Woodsy work his magic and he could well come good.

Yes, I want Forster but if that’s not possible then getting Hart and Hladky for free would give us pretty solid options along with Bain and hopefully let us invest elsewhere in the team.

I don't think his attitude or ego are the problem, as far as I can see he's quite a passionate player who wants to win. My problem is with his fragile confidence and the fact he's made some pretty monumental * ups in big games.

For me the goalkeeper position is all about trust - did I fully trust Gordon? Not really. He came out his goal and made stupid fouls, never saved penalities but could pull off worldy reaction saves. I trust Forster at all times. Hart I wouldn't fully trust, and when your defence, manager or fans lose that trust it's a recipe for disaster.

I'll obviously support him if he signs but I think it's a massive gamble tbh. He makes one mistake against the Huns or in a Euro game and he'll feel more scrutiny than he ever did at man city.

Got a real dislike for this guy, and even if he came here and played like Buffon in his prime, that wouldn't change.

He's also a calamity keeper who might even be worse than Gordon with the ball at his feet.

Just go and sign the Greek guy ffs.

At his peak he was massively over rated as almost all English goalkeepers are ... Forster aside
