Celtic will be looking to conclude their European interests for this season with what hopefully will be a winning performance to remember, when they host the visit of the Eredivisie Champions, Feyenoord, on Wednesday evening.

Sadly, this is a dead rubber match for both sides, with the visitors (6 points) having secured 3rd in the Group but will be unable to catch Lazio's 10 points, while Celtic have only pride to play for after what has been an otherwise underwhelming European campaign.

And coming into this...

The Hoops head to Ayrshire on League duty this weekend, when they take on 6th placed Kilmarnock on Sunday.

The Bhoys responded to the deserved criticism that had been levelled, following some of the below par displays this season and carried on from the much improved second half performance against St Johnstone last weekend, with another much more comprehensive showing in the 4-1 win against Hibernian on Wednesday.

The Hoops showed all of the intensity, pace and quality in that game and the Celtic faithful will be wanting...

The Hoops return home on Wednesday, looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the Premiership title defence, when they host the visit of 5th placed Hibernian.

The Bhoys will want to start this game much better than in the lacklustre first half effort against St Johnstone on Sunday - a performance in which Rodgers admitted to never having been so furious about at half-time - before the Bhoys kicked it into gear, with the subs all making contributions to impact the game and ultimately earning a 3-1 win.

The Hoops return to Premiership action when they travel through to Perth to take on St Johnstone in the Sunday lunchtime kick-off.

Since the International break, the Bhoys have had to share the spoils in a lacklustre 1-1 draw with 8th placed Motherwell before travelling to Rome, where they lost 2-0 to Lazio - a team currently sitting in 11th in Serie A.

There are another 9 games to be played in the next 30 days, and with so many fixtures coming so quickly there is little time to dwell, but that can be a good...

With the European ambitions for this season hanging by a thread, the Bhoys will be hoping that history can repeat itself tomorrow, when they take on S.S. Lazio in the Champions League.

After the 1-1 draw with Motherwell at the weekend, Celtic will need to be far more clinical if they are to have any chance against Lazio, but hopefully that game will have served to get the rust out after the International break and ready for this trip.

The equation is simple. Celtic have to win this game against...
