I'm now unsure whether you got my joke or it just went whoosh :56:

Serves me right for trying to be too clever.

I like how Ange dont tolerate any primadonna behaviour no matter how big potential the player have.

It's alI a bit strange. I mind Ange saying Karamoko was one of the players he was really looking forward to working with. From that, it sounds like hes not got the mentality or attitude that Ange expects. It's a shame coz I think he will still be a good player

Was in my daughters classes at St Ninians.

Her exact words were he was the most disruptive person she had in any of her classes, stuck up and bad attitude.

Stade Brestois is pleased to announce the signing for 4 seasons of Karamoko Dembélé (19 years old). Trained at Celtic Glasgow, with whom he signed his first professional contract at just 15 years old, he will now try to take a step forward in Michel Der Zakarian's training.

At a good pace, Stade Brestois is continuing its recruitment for the 2022/2023 season. After the arrivals of Mathias Pereira Lage and Noah Fadiga, the club set its sights on Karamoko Dembélé (19). A precocious player and exposed very early on at the top level, he arrived in Finistère with the desire to impose himself in a new team and a new championship.

Karamoko therefore left Celtic Glasgow, which he joined at the age of 10 and with which he signed his first professional contract at the end of 2018, at only 15 years old. “I come to Brest because I saw that the project presented by Greg Lorenzi was good. It's something that suits me and I think I can have some playing time here. It was a great opportunity that presented itself to me and it interested me”.
Small, very lively and destabilizing, Karamoko can evolve “on the right or in number 10” and presents an atypical profile. “I'm very explosive, I like to have fun and give it to the fans and of course I like to score and win”.

Born in the suburbs of London to Ivorian parents, Karamoko played international youth matches with England and Scotland but remains eligible with Côte d'Ivoire, like his brother Siriki who plays in Bournemouth, promoted to the Premier League.

He will wear number 18. Welcome Karamoko!

Hope we don’t live to regret this one. Shame but that’s the way it goes sometimes.

He's a very talented player. Watched him in the Glasgow Cup semi and he was still the one causing most of the damage and even at that he didn't look happy. I think if someone can't get him focused, happy and playing regular he'll still be a crackin player.

Pity it didn't work out for him here, I still maintain if he didn't get that injury from a shocking tackle last pre season we would be having a completely different conversation right now.

I know, but hes only 19. And Forrest isn't getting any younger. But then again, if he was that good bigger teams would have taken him on a free transfer

He may have had bigger options but chose a development route? Bit like players like Moussa choosing us over EPL money. I hope so... It'd be good if he developed and went on to his full potential. He needs games and development over prestige and cash right now...
