I have an awful feeling about this for some reason. I can see us giving in to the crowd and attacking unnecessarily leaving too much space. Barca don't change their game depending on who the play but judging from how some people have been talking their expecting us to be an attacking force. If we go out trying to hurt them we'll get badly punished imo.

I don't think the players are daft, they'll know that they'll have to remain disciplined or Barcelona will punish us. The crowd will just give them that extra boost when we hit Barcelona on the counter.

He took a shot and kind of twisted his body to try and make the angle.

Seemed to have tweeked his hammy in the process.

He looked in real trouble to begin with but ended up walking back to the bench and staying to watch the rest of the game with no real treatment or ice packs.

    hopefully he is fine.

He made a great run had a 1-2 with someone (maybe Watt) and then nearly scored (hit side netting) and was on the ground after that. Pulled it hitting the shot. He was on the ground for a bit then walked/limped off.

Was he limping? I can't imagine if he has done anything to his hamstring that he will take any part in the game on Wednesday. Here's hoping that it was just extreme precaution.

    Didn't seem to be.

He walked back to the dugout and was high fiving the fans at trackside.

Ah right. Well that gives me a bit of hope. I think Mulgrew would just get outpaced and if we have Matthews or Lustig there then they would just get turned inside out because they're on their bad side.

I don't think Barca would be happy with a draw in any game. They will want to win and guarantee they are top of the table and into the next round as winners of the group. That way they could rest players for there last two matches which won't really do us favours.

Barca never accept a draw - I've never seen a team so determined to win every single time they enter a match!

If they get the point they need on Wednesday, here's hoping you are right when they go to Moscow in late November.

I think it was just a slight knock and he was rested against Dundee United as a precaution. Should be fit for Wednesday, hopefully.

I'll be honest, I'm more looking forward to the atmosphere and everything else surrounding it more than I am the actual game.

I can maybe see us scoring one or even two into them (since we're at home), but it might still not be enough. A win would be absolutely phenomenal, but I'd take a draw right now if you offered me it.

I wouldn't expect them to play for a draw, still I have a feeling they might end up being happy if they managed to get a draw on Wednesday:86:.

    I couldn't think of a better opponent for such a night:shamrock:.

Predicted last time out that Barca would be in for a shock when we scored early and I expect the same again at home. They were lucky to beat us over there, they won't be so lucky come Wednesday. :shamrock:
