We quite likely will see a large turnover of players next summer but for sure this guy needs to be first out the exit door. The bonus would be if we could recoup the 3.5m we paid for him or at least most of it.

The question is why doesn't he look out of place playing against quality players, but looks like a lost man playing for us?

He was never as bad for us as some made out but Laxalt is many, many, many times the player.

    He is history here.

Some of his performances were certainly bad but maybe some will realise it wasn’t all just him and possibly down to poor coaching and a lack of clear instructions for the player as well.

I hope he continues to play well so the team he is playing with sign him permanently and hopefully for close to what we paid so we don’t make too big a loss.

You're right but it could also just show how much Neil relies on individual class instead of him actually coaching players, what he is paid to do. Laxalt obviously is highly self-motivated. Sadly something most people, including the rest of our squad isn't. Therefore proper coaching can make the difference for guys like Boli. Although he stays a *.

Turkish clubs always have translators for foreign players, I’m pretty sure Boli’s getting the message on what his role is

He got a hard time from the fans

He was exceptional in our win against the huns at the start of last season and excelled in the EL

Guy had a few dodgy games and was bombed out the squad in place of Greg * Taylor who should count himself lucky he even sits on our bench.

Then after the corona debacle which was massively exaggerated he became public enemy number 1, and all of a sudden the worst LB in our history.

He's a decent player, should never have been dropped for Taylor

Laxalt is an experienced player who’s played at big tournaments with Uruguay and has played for big clubs. Doesn’t surprise me that his individual quality is helping us immediately.
