I blame Lawell for his neglect of the scouting staff. Instead of blowing 3 million on Boli it should have been spent on employing a first class scouting team. Player recruitment is vital and we have made a complete * of it. Forget Neil Lennon being to blame, if we lose the league it will be down to signing poor players. Neil Lennon is given these players to work with , the blame rests at the scouting teams door and even more so at Lawells for allowing these chumps to waste millions on * players. We are shooting ourselves in the foot and handing our title to the huns.

 

Why would Lawwell do that Perhaps he likes playing the CEO/DoF. Utter * DD has surely got to step in club is a shambles at present

Celtic Football Club today announced that Head of Football Operations, Nick Hammond, has resigned from his position at the Club to pursue new opportunities.

Nick joined Celtic in 2019, having previously held Director of Football and Technical Director positions at Reading FC and West Bromwich Albion FC respectively. He leaves with the Club’s best wishes.

Celtic Chief Executive Peter Lawwell said: “We would like to thank Nick for his contribution to Celtic across the past two seasons. Everyone at the Club wishes Nick the very best for the future."

 

Must be close to appointing a DOF then.
