Would expect Slavia Prague to beat FC Midtjylland comfortably tonight in their own patch (and in the 2nd leg away in Denmark, too). After all, Rangers beat them home & away fairly recently. Currently, the bookies have Slavia at 7/10 to win tonight. Quite decent odds, imo. Maybe worth a flutter for all you gamblers.

they do play fast attacking football, decent wee side

watching both teams, they play faster than us, they are not afraid to try stuff and maybe lose the ball

one of the biggest problems about us in recent seasons is this slow risk averse football we end up playing where it then puts all the pressure on eduard forrest elonousi christie to create something out of nothing, instead of passing the ball quickly and purposefully in the final third and players rotating positions on the pitch to offer options to the ball carrier and to confuse and work the opposition

its got to be the coaching as when you watch teams in europe thats what they do

That pk against Molde was ridiculous, but no way could they turn it.over as Ferencvaros actually scored just after the ref blew the whistle.

 

That Molde vs Ferencvaros game tonight seems to be a really entertaining one, judging by the scoreline (3 - 3). A real yo-yo type of game. The return leg over in Hungary should be an interesting one, too. Hard to call, imo (if tonight’s result & stats are anything to go by; equal possession, passes, shots on target, etc. A real stalemate, it seems.

Just shows how frustrating our Champions League failures have been. We probably make more money and have a squad that costs more than most teams in the Champions League qualifiers in the Champions route and more than the teams who have knocked us out over the years but we just fail. 4 Champions League group stage appearances in 10 years isn't good enough. Probably my emotions getting the better of me but it * me off because I know we got the potential to be better.

 

They were awful against us. They have done well to get to the groups, fair to say they are punching above their weight but I wouldn't be surprised to see them finish on 3 points or less

 

* gutting. Fair * to them but it should've been us. We don't beat these teams, we certainly don't deserve to be in the group stages.

Fair to say if it was 2 legs we would have won. 1 leg affair makes things more erratic. Entire champions league should be that after groups.

The reason this still casts a shadow is because this was a decent draw for us and we * it up. What they've done since changes * all in my mind. We also got them very early too having hardly played, similar to us actually but still.
