If you insist on the ‘a’ in potato proving its tatties, not totties, does that mean you call them Tay-ties because the ‘a’ in potato is sounded as ‘ay’

Or do you call totties ‘potahtos’?

A big positive for the square is your less likely to lose it from your roll than you are with a link. Never came across a square/slice in Ireland.

All these threads are making me hungry....especially this one. Roll and square with tattie or tottie scone. Minted

    But I do love a pork slice.....amazing

Gony be controversial here and say a roll n link with tattie scone is better than square.

Especially if you half the links down the middle so they dont fall out the roll. I agree

There’s a butchers in Burnbank that does amazing pork links.

Other than that you can’t go wrong with Malcolm Allan beef links. Tremendous

As I've mentioned before, the Square Sausage is the King of all dinners. My family think I'm strange as I'd have them before steak, chicken, fish.

Aye I’ve yet to try any Malcom Allan products that aren’t good.

They do beef olives that are to die for.
